Abstract

L'invention concerne un système ou un procédé de réparation de rails de chemin de fer comprenant un champignon, des parties âme et base. Ledit procédé consiste en au moins les étapes suivantes : identification et localisation d'un défaut dans le rail ; suppression du défaut par enlèvement de matière du rail entourant le défaut dans au moins la partie champignon, de sorte qu'un vide et une interface de vide soient formés alors que la continuité du rail est maintenue ; remplissage du vide de métal fondu et induction de la liaison du métal fondu et de l'interface de vide du rail. Le métal fondu peut être produit par soudage à l'arc sous protection gazeuse. La teneur en carbone du métal fondu est la même que celle du rail.
