Abstract

A method is disclosed for the generation of pores or channels in a metallic body made from a material with at least two phases (1, 2) of differing crystal structure, whereby one phase (1) has a face-centred cubic crystal structure with a Pearson symbol cF4 and a phase (2) has a cubic crystal structure with a Pearson symbol cP4. Interconnecting and interpenetrating networks are generated from the two phases (1, 2) and one of said phases (1, 2) is then selectively removed. The invention further relates to a metallic body produced according to said method.
