Abstract
The invention relates to a method and a device for cleaning and transporting dirty water solutions occurring during cleaning processes. The aim of the invention is to increase the speed at which the solids are separated from the liquid during the cleaning process using the centrifugal principle instead of filter separation and to increase the surface capacity of the cleaning process by separating the structure of the centrifuge by dispensing with transport devices while reducing the weight thereof and making it easy to handle. This is achieved by means of a method wherein the inflowing liquid charged with solids is continuously or intermittently guided into a rapidly rotating rotationally symmetrical hollow body (1), distributed on the inner side (24) thereof, rotated therewith and continuously kept at a level which is approximately above that of the overflow level between an inflow (3) and an overflow (2) while the solid particles are separated and captured on the inner side (24) of the hollow cylinder (1), whereby a correspondingly small overflow amount of rotating cleaned fluid is outwardly transferred when an overflow level is exceeded and the kinetic energy thereof (rotational energy) is converted into pressure. The pressure can be used for draining or operating a pump.
