Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système destinés à valider la connectivité d'un RPV existant à l'intérieur d'un réseau de télécommunications. Le réseau peut être un réseau privé virtuel à protocole Internet (RPV-IP) construit au moyen de commutation d'étiquette multiprotocole de standards du domaine public (MPLS) et de protocole de passerelle frontière (BGP). Une station de travail se connecte au réseau de télécommunications et détermine une information sur des routeurs PE et CE d'un réseau RPV sélectionné. On utilise un algorithme de groupage afin d'analyser les configurations des routeurs du réseau RPV sélectionnés en vue de déterminer la topologie de ce réseau. La fonctionnalité des routeurs est testée et les résultats du test de fonctionnalité sont analysés par application d'un algorithme ou par comparaison à des modèles de fournisseur de service. La station de travail affiche alors l'information représentant l'état actuel du ou des réseaux RPV et l'état requis ou souhaité du ou des réseaux RPV.
