Abstract

L'invention concerne un guide d'onde comportant un canal (12) sur un substrat optique (11), l'indice de réfraction de ce canal étant supérieur à celui du substrat, et comportant aussi au moins une couche guidante (15) agencée sur ce canal, l'indice de cette couche guidante étant supérieur à celui du substrat. De plus, le guide d'onde comporte une couche d'adaptation (13-14) s'étendant latéralement de part et d'autre du canal (12). L'invention vise également une méthode de fabrication de ce guide d'onde.
