Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for detecting interference in the frequency range, which is caused by equipment to be tested. According to the invention, a signal is first received from the equipment to be tested in the time range by means of a measurement system (126). The received signal is then converted (128) from the time range into the frequency range, to obtain a spectral signal. A predetermined detector signal (130) is applied to the spectral signal to obtain a spectral measurement signal that characterises the interference. Said spectral measurement signal is corrected (138) to compensate for an error that is caused by a transmission function of the measurement system.
