Abstract

The invention relates to a paper or synthetic fabric cover for a toilet seat, which is disposable, impermeable, self-adhesive, portable and of a standard size. The inventive cover, which comprises a plastic film on one of the faces thereof, can be used on any toilet seat owing to the standard size thereof. The purpose of the invention is to offer a practical solution to toilet users. According to the invention, the cover is characterised in that it comprises a plastic film on one of the faces thereof. The aforementioned plastic film is disposed such that it is in contact with the toilet seat in order prevent the passage of any liquid or solid residue that may be contained on said seat. Moreover, the cover is provided with self-adhesive stickers which are disposed on the face thereof comprising the plastic film and which prevent said film from moving while the toilet is being used. The cover also comprises a tab which forms part thereof and which prevents the male reproductive organ from coming into physical contact with the toilet, thereby providing an effective, easy-to-use, portable and simple solution.

Description

DISPOSABLE, WATERPROOF AND SELF-ADHESIVE COVER

FOR BATH SEAT

DESCRIPTION

The characteristic details of this novel cover that belongs to the technical sector of hygienic products for bathroom or personal care, are presented in the following description and in the accompanying drawings.

Currently there is no fully safe and reliable disposable cover for the toilet seat. Those that exist in the market are covers that do not prevent the passage of liquids or are very uncomfortable, so they are not completely safe and comfortable. Which is annoying for people who use public toilets, because no matter how hard the cleaning staff make an effort, there will always be urine residues, fecal matter, beautiful and others, which puts the user's health at risk. This forces people to take awkward positions or risk becoming infected when using a public toilet.

In order to abolish these inconveniences and provide a completely safe solution when using public toilets, the Disposable, Waterproof and Self-Adhesive Cover for Bath Seat was developed, which is intended to protect by means of this application, since it is of a synthetic fabric or paper cover, disposable, self-adhering, waterproof and completely safe that will allow the individual to make use of any toilet seat, with the peace of mind that they will not have physical contact with said seat or residues of any kind in it .

Figure 1 shows the shape that the cover should have, after being cut. This requires a piece of synthetic fabric or paper that is soft to the touch (No. 1). The idea is to create a standard size cover to fit any bath seat, regardless of size and / or shape. Previously you should have a rectangular piece of this fabric with measures of 55 cm. by 46 cm. Thus, it is also necessary to have a piece of plastic of the type used for polyethylene bags or apply a chemical compound that works as a plastic film to perform the same function; as long as it is a chemical compound that is not harmful to physical contact with the skin. This plastic or plastic film must have the same dimensions as the piece of cloth, or be previously adhered to the cloth or paper. Once you have the piece of cloth, it is necessary to cut it in the form of an ellipse and then make another cut in the form of an ellipse in the center of this piece of cloth or paper, leaving a tongue in the shape of a rectangle. The measurements of the internal ellipse will be 16 cm. wide by 26 cm. long (No. 2). The tongue should be cut into the inner ellipse at one end where the ellipse reaches the maximum length. This tongue will have the dimensions of 6.5 cm. wide by 8 cm. long. And it will have the function of preventing the physical contact of the male reproductive member with the toilet. This tab will also serve as a reference point for attaching the cover to the bath seat (No. 3). Finally, a straight cut is made in the outer ellipse of the synthetic fabric on the opposite side where the tongue (No. 4) is located. This cut should be made in such a way that the most pronounced outer ellipse curve opposite the tongue is eliminated, and will be done at 5 cm. from the furthest point to the tongue.

Once the piece of cloth or paper has been cut with the aforementioned measures, and if the plastic film has not yet adhered, the plastic piece must be cut with the same dimensions and shape as the cloth; Or, fuse the plastic with the fabric or paper to protect one side of the fabric with a plastic film. If the piece of plastic is chosen, this piece of plastic will have to be placed alongside the piece of fabric to continue with the next manufacturing process. The function of the piece of plastic or the plastic film will be to prevent any liquid residue from eventually penetrating the fabric or paper and making contact with the human body; making the case completely safe and waterproof for the user.

Figure 2 shows the piece of fabric (No. 1) and the attached piece of plastic or the piece of fabric protected with the plastic film on one of its faces (No. 2), to To achieve this, the plastic film must be applied or, heat is applied to adhere the fabric or paper to the plastic. Once you have the piece of synthetic fabric or paper with plastic on one of its faces, you proceed to place 3 labels with double-sided adhesive on the plastic. The measurements of these double-sided labels will be 2 cm. long by 1 cm. Wide. These labels will be distributed on the sleeve as follows: One is placed on the plastic on the side opposite the tongue of the sleeve (No. 3), and the other two will be placed on the plastic on each side of the cover (No. 4).

It is worth mentioning that the entire process of creating the cover must be under strict hygiene controls to offer a product to the consumer that provides confidence and security when used.

The way to use the cover is described in figure 3. First you have to remove the paper from the labels with double-sided adhesive and then place the cover on the toilet seat, making sure that the tab (No.1) remains on the opposite side to the water tank of the toilet (No. 2), this in order to protect the male reproductive member from any contact with the toilet seat. Subsequently, pressure must be applied with the hands on the cover at the points where the double-sided adhesive labels are located (No. 3); in order to fix the cover to the seat and prevent it from moving while using it. In this way the user will enjoy complete security while enjoying comfort by making contact with a cloth or paper and not with the toilet seat. Finally at the end of using the cover, it is pulled to detach it from the toilet seat and is thrown in the trash.

When the cover is finished, it can be folded (No. 1) in such a way that it can be placed in a plastic bag (No. 2) for distribution and sale. This will allow the case to be portable. As shown in figure 4.

Figure 5 shows the disposable hygienic cover (No. 1) placed on the toilet seat (No. 2). Which will allow people to make use of any toilet, with the confidence that your body did not make physical contact with it or the waste it may have.

That said, a disposable hygienic cover for a bathroom seat is presented with the following characteristics:

a) It allows complete hygiene in the use of bath seats, effectively preventing physical contact of the human body with the bath seat. b) It is a standard size bath seat cover that allows it to be used in any bath seat, regardless of size or shape. c) The tongue that forms part of this sheath prevents physical contact of the male reproductive member with the toilet. d) The fact that it is made of fabric or paper soft to the touch, facilitates its placement and provides comfort in its use. e) By having a plastic film, any contact between the human body and the toilet seat or residues of any kind in it will be completely effectively avoided. f) It allows it to be easily adjusted and does not move from its place, thanks to the self-adhesive labels it contains. g) The fact that it is portable benefits the user by not depending on the establishment to use the toilet in a completely safe and hygienic way. h) Because it is disposable, it makes it practical and guarantees hygiene every time it is used.

Claims

CLAIMS Having sufficiently described my invention, I consider as a novelty and therefore claim as my exclusive property, the content of the following clauses:

1.- Claim consisting of a cover of fabric, paper or other material that turns out to be soft to the touch, and that is characterized by being disposable, waterproof and adjustable to any bath seat, making use of a plastic film on one of its faces of the fabric or paper, in order to provide complete hygiene when making use of said seat.

2 - Claim in accordance with the claim in claim No. 1, characterized by containing self-adherent labels, in order to keep the cover fixed while using it.
