Abstract

A method of broadcasting video streams which enables a viewer to be brought 'up-to-date' on the events that took place in the viewer's absence comprises: selecting a particular part of a basic video stream (600); forming a highlight video stream (614) by means of adding the particular part to a further part being selected from the basic video stream (600); and broadcasting the highlight video stream (614) simultaneously with the basic video stream (600). Especially by repeatedly broadcasting the highlight video stream (614) the viewer is provided with a constant video stream of highlights while the basic video stream is broadcast.
