Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft Trägerpartikeln für die Chromatographie auf der Grundlage von Mikrokapseln mit poröser Wand, Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung und ihre Verwendung. Die erfindungsgemässen Trägerpartikeln stellen Mikrokapseln mit einer druckfesten und gleichzeitig für Makromoleküle hochdurchlässigen Wand dar oder enthalten solche Mikrokapseln. Das Trägermaterial kann insbesondere aus gereinigten Exinen von Koniferenpollen bestehen. Dieses Trägermaterial ist für chromatographische Anwendungen besonders geeignet, wo es auf den schnellen Austausch von Polymermolekülen der Grösse von Proteinen und Polymermolekülen bis zu einer bestimmten Teilchengrösse, die zweihundert nm betragen kann, mit der stationären Flüssigphase ankommt. Wichtige Anwendungen bestehen in der Isolation genomischer DNA aus einem Rohextrakt oder der Abtrennung einer besonders hochmolekularen Fraktion von kleineren Molekülen einer polydispersen Polymermischung.
