Definitions
- the present invention has to do with the field of toys, because it deals with a semi-disposable inflatable toy, which serves to winnow and catch. Fly, glide and bounce. It resists shock, pressure and submersion in water, made of mylar film, or nylon or polyester, or polypropylene, or similar polymers, or laminations thereof, preferably metallized.
- Inflatable toys which bounce, glide and fly that exist today, have been reported since 1998, as recorded in the MX 957 registry of utility model.
- To make these toys requires a rectangular section of mylar film, or nylon or polyester, or polypropylene, or similar polymers, or laminations of these, preferably metallic, which is folded lengthwise and longitudinally sealed with heat and other sealing that originates the conical tip;
- a special adhesive tape must be applied to reinforce the seal.
- Figure 1 It is a conventional perspective view of the accessory to make the inflatable toy.
- Figure 2. It is a left side view of one of the film fastening screeds; the right side being substantially the same.
- Figure 3. It is a top view of the accessory with the film to make the inflatable toy.
- Figure 4. It is a top view of the accessory, where the folds that are made to the film and the application of an adhesive tape can be seen.
- Figure 5. Is a cross section of the accessory, the folded and taped film.
- Figure 6. It is a right side view of the taped film, the left side being the same, without the accessory, with a longitudinal double.
- Figure 7. It is a conventional perspective of the taped film, with a second longitudinal double.
- Figure 8. It is a left side view of the taped film, with the second double, where the place of the heat seal is indicated.
- Figure 10 Is a left side view of the semi-finished inflatable toy.
- Figure 10. It is a left side view of the inflatable toy, where the application of adhesive tape can be seen on the tip of said toy.
- Figure 11. Is a conventional left side view of the toy with a twisted end.
- Figure 12. Is a conventional perspective of the finished toy with the end coiled in concentric semicircles.
- Figure 13. It is a conventional view of the toy in use.
- Figures 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19. They are top views of some of the variants of the tip of the inflatable toy.
- Figures 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 are top views of some modalities of the cylindrical tube of the inflatable toy.
- Figure 1 which consists of a rectangular, rigid and flat base (1), which includes two steel soleplates (2) and lined with rubber
- the guides are to regulate the movement and fixation of the screeds (2).
- the sills protrude from the flat base (1), this excess serves to leverage to maneuver said sills (2); the opposite end (3A) carries a small portion of ravaged rubber on its edges so that when removing the film tube (5) it does not get stuck.
- One of the screeds must have a screw (6) that holds a cable
- a tubular For this, a rectangular piece of mylar film (5), or nylon or polyester, or polypropylene, or similar polymers, or laminations thereof, preferably metallized, is used.
- the film (5) is centered on the flat part (1) of the accessory, which is below the two soleplates (2) to hold and tighten; the screeds are placed at a suitable distance, so that two bends can be made on the screeds (2) and that the longitudinal ends of the same film (5) have an overlap of approximately 2 cm, as shown in the Figures 4 and 5.
- a wide, transparent tape with special adhesive (8) is applied to this overlap; which sticks the film to give structure and resistance to the tubular that is formed and does not allow the leakage of the fluid with which it is filled. It is important to make a carving with pressure on the adhesive tape (8) to make it as hermetic as possible.
- the tape should be free of wrinkles and channels.
- the tubular is made a longitudinal fold (Figure 6), to make a second longitudinal fold, as seen in Figure 7, and then make a heat seal (9) at one end of the tubular to obtain the tip (10 ) symmetrical toy.
- the toy is inflated by introducing fluid, preferably air, through the rear hole (11), to then place more adhesive tape (8) over the seal (9) of the tip (10) of the toy, to reinforce said seal ( 9).
- this toy To use this toy, it must be inflated, blowing it at a distance of approximately 30 cm from the air intake hole (11), stretching the balloon along can fill it with a blow (for a toy 1.60 m high by 24 cm in diameter). The balloon can also be filled with other fluids. Then the balloon is taken in the palm of the hand at the end where it was inflated and twisted until achieving a taut cord (12, Figure 11), these turns generate pressure on the toy, because when turning the balloon twisting its end ( 12), its length is reduced.
- This pressure in the body of the toy is essential so that when a semicircle (13) is made at the base of the balloon, with the taut string (12), and the rest of the taut string goes under the semicircle (13) concentrically and not move and get caught.
- This arrangement gives rise to a compact mass (13), which is the base of the toy and on which it can bounce consistently. Its streamlined shape makes it easy to fly and glide.
- the toy resists the pressure of a weight of approximately 35 kilograms and can be inflated and deflated several times. In this way an inflatable toy with the appearance of a space rocket is obtained, characterized by a cylindrical body, which at one end has a tip (10) or variations, as can be seen in Figures 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 .
- tip (10) are achieved by making a heat seal with predesigned molds; Said tips (10) may or may not have reinforcement with adhesive tape.
- Another embodiment of the toy is to tie a knot (14) at the opposite end to the base (13) of the toy, with or without garter, as shown in the figure
- the toy of the present invention has a straight tubular body, however, this body can be given other shapes, such as undulations, angular and / or helical for better attractiveness, as can be seen in Figures 20 , 21, 22, 23 and 24.
- all possible combinations can be made between the types of tubular and tips that are described in this invention; as well as all those variations of forms that are not mentioned and that are somehow implicit in this application.
- the tip preferably faces the direction you want the inflatable toy to follow.
- the balloon is held in the middle part with the left hand and with the right hand it is glued to the base (13) with the palm of the open hand where the screw is located (13), thus it is propelled to fly. opening the air with its aerodynamic tip, as it is light and elongated, it plans (when it is filled with the gaseous fluid that emanates from the mouth), if it is 70% filled with helium gas its gliding and displacement are further prolonged.
- the inflatable toy is made up of a cylindrical body; an aerodynamic tip (10) in its upper part, and a compact base in its lower part (13).
- the cylindrical body and the tip (10) are a single section, like the compact base (13), that is, everything is in one piece.
- the cylindrical body is longer than the tip (10).
- the cylindrical body can also vary; with diameters from 6 or 7 cm, up to 1 meter or a little more, they all close the same at the base (13).
- the invention can be exploited industrially as a diversion for all its characteristics and for the prints or drawings that are put on it is ornamental.
