Abstract

L'installation de dessalage d'eau de mer de la présente invention se distingue par un rendement élevé et ne nécessite que peu de frais de construction et d'entretien. L'installation comprend un évaporateur à vide creux hermétique avec l'amenée de l'eau de mer par le bas, dont la cavité de haut est reliée par des tuyaux aux condenseurs de vapeur et une pompe à vide ainsi qu'une cavité de collecte de l'eau dessalée. La nouveauté consiste en ce que l'évaporateur à vide se présente comme une tour verticale ayant la forme d'un corps de rotation. L'invention comprend une formule de mise en oeuvre optimale de la génératrice de ce corps de rotation. On peut utiliser en tant qu'entraînement de la pompe à vide une éolienne et en tant que condenseur un turbo-détendeur.
