Abstract

The invention relates to a device which permits the user to position their hands (one on the grip, one on the top of the shaft) such as to avoid bending the back. The invention thus provides a certain ease of use for the user. The above has a mechanism (1), comprising a tube (2) into which the shaft (3) of the broom may be introduced, two semi-circular pieces and a clamping screw (6), which permits the mechanism (1) to be raised or lowered depending on the height of the user, two washers (9) with through holes, a bolt (7) which serves as the axis for clamping and a bent handle (4). The handle (4) is clamped by means of a wing-nut (5). Said device is particularly suitable for improvement of particular household appliances such as a broom.
