Technical Field
This invention relates to an aqueous detergent, particularly to a composition for an aqueous detergent which contains no solvents strictly regulated by the law, and is to maximize the polarity and corrosion of the polymer.
Background Art
Polyurethane foams are commonly referred as thermosetting urethanes, which are formed by urethane group from the reaction of polyether or polyester polyol with isocyanate (R-NCO). Polyurethane foams are also formed by the reaction of isocyanate with water (H O) to give an urea and CO2. These polyurethane foams conventionally apply to a mid-sole for shoes.
Thermoplastic urethanes (hereinafter, referred as "TPUs") are conventionally referred as thermoplastic urethane, which are formed from the reaction of polyethylene with urethane groups, particularly urethane group from the polyester or polyether. The TPUs are used for producing the sole-attachment or the air-bag inserted into the mid- sole for shoes. The air-bag is produced by injection or extrusion molding, and when attached the sole-attachments to the sole, that aim at the torsion or reinforcement.
The mid-sole is made from the post-processes such as the paint spraying process or adhering process etc, which require cleansing with solvents. Also, the air- bag or the sole-attachment has to be cleansed by the solvents to promote the aqueous/inflammable paint, bond primer, PU pouring adhesion processes due to its dense skin and high rigidity in view of production properties.
Typical solvents (hereinafter, referred as "detergent") include trichloroethylene, methyl ethyl ketone (hereinafter, referred as "MEK"), isopropyl alcohol (hereinafter, referred as "IPA"), the mixture of MEK with IPA, and chlorinated solvent mixture, etc. However, these detergents not only may adversely affect the health of the workers and stability in the working place, but also may cause serious environmental contamination and pollution. Specifically, highly volatile solvents such as those containing methyl group (-CH ) are strictly regulated by domestic and foreign laws. And, carcinogenic substances contained in the prior detergents may cause cancer, vomiting or dermatological diseases when contacting the human body, and can be fatal to the human body when used in a prolonged period of time.
Summary of the Invention
Thus, the object of this invention is to provide a composition for an aqueous detergent used for the shoes to solve the above-mentioned problems. The composition contains no solvents which are strictly regulated by domestic and foreign laws, and maximize the polarity and corrosion of the polymer.
The object of this invention is to provide a composition for an aqueous detergent used for the shoes, which is non-toxic to human body.
The object of this invention is to provide a composition for an aqueous detergent used for shoes, which may enhance adhesive strength.
The object of this invention is to provide a composition for an aqueous detergent used for cleansing the PU mid-sole of the shoes.
The object of this invention is to provide a composition for an aqueous detergent used for cleansing the TPU and plastic injections.
To achieve these objects, this invention provides a composition for an aqueous detergent comprising 0.1 to 2.0% of polyether siloxane copolymer, 5.0 to 30.0% of physical mixture of stabilized, neutralized metal precursor and amino functional compounds in ethylene glycol, 0.1 to 2.0% of hydroxyl aliphatic amine, and 66.0 to 94.8% of H2O. Further, this invention provides a composition for an aqueous detergent comprising 0.1 to 2.0% of NaOH; 0.1 to 5.0% of isocyanuric acid, 0.1 to 2.0% of sodium diisooctylsulfosuccinate, 0.1 to 2.0% of aqueous solution of a modified polymer with groups of high pigment affinity, 0.1 to 10% of aryl alkyl polyoxyethylene ether, and 88.0 to 99.5% of H2O.
Brief Description of the Drawing
Fig. 1 is a catalog of Chartwell International, Inc., which produces and sells the physical mixture of stabilized, neutralized metal precursor and amino functional compounds in ethylene glycol in the composition for an aqueous detergent according to the preferred embodiment of the invention.
Fig. 2 is a catalog of TEGO Chemie Service GmbH, which produces and sells the aqueous solution of a modified polymer with groups of high pigment affinity in the composition for an aqueous detergent according to the preferred embodiment of the invention.
Detailed Description of the Invention
Preferred embodiments of this invention are specifically described as follow.
Hereinafter, the composition according to the present invention will be exemplified to the mid-sole and an air-bag for shoes and its sole attachments, but it is obvious that the present invention can also be equivalently applied to the shoemaking industry using polyurethane foam or thermoplastic urethane as composition.
First, with regard to the concept of the aqueous detergent, the aqueous detergent according to the present invention contains no solvents which are strictly regulated by the law, and is to maximize the polarity and corrosion of the polymer. Hence, the above-mentioned aqueous detergent may be divided into 2 categories according to its components, i.e., for cleansing the mid-sole made of polyurethane foam, or for air-bag or sole attachments made of thermoplastic urethane. The compositions of those detergents are as follows.
The aqueous detergent composition for cleansing the mid-sole for shoes includes a polyether siloxane copolymer and a physical mixture of stabilized neutralized metal precursor and amino functional compounds in ethylene glycol (Chartwell™ B- 515.71 , manufactured by Chartwell International, Inc.) and hydroxyl aliphatic amine. T Thhee ccoommpr. osition and the properties of Chartwell™ B-515.71 are shown in the catalog of Fig. 1.
Further, the aqueous detergent composition for cleansing the air-bag or sole attachment for shoes comprises NaOH, isocyanuric acid, sodium diisooctylsulfosuccinate, aqueous solution of a modified polymer with groups of high pigment affinity (TEGO™ Dispers 750W, manufactured by TEGO Chemie Service GmbH) and aryl alkyl polyoxyethylene ether. The composition and the properties of TEGO™ Dispers 750W are shown in the catalog of Fig. 2.
The following examples are given for the purpose of illustrating the present invention and shall not be construed as being limitations on the scope or spirit of the invention
Example
Example 1
An aqueous detergent is produced by mixing and stirring 0.6% of polyether siloxane copolymer, 10.0% of physical mixture of stabilized, neutralized metal precursor and amino functional compounds in ethylene glycol, 0.2% of hydroxyl aliphatic amine, and 89.2% of H2O. The aqueous detergent comprising the above- mentioned components is "Biogenic ™ 700", and is mainly used for cleansing the mid- sole.
Example 2
An aqueous detergent is produced by mixing and stirring 0.1 % of NaOH; 0.3% of isocynuric acid, 0.2% of sodium diisooctylsulfosuccinate, 0.2% of aqueous solution of a modified polymer with groups of high pigment affinity, 0.3% of aryl alkyl polyoxyethylene ether, and 98.9% of H2O. The aqueous detergent comprising the above-mentioned components is "Biogenic ™ 300SF", and is mainly used for cleansing the air-bag and sole attachments.
As can be seen in the above, because the composition for the aqueous detergent of the present invention contains no carcinogenic substances and VOC regulation substances, it is non-toxic to human body and prevents soil or air pollution, and it has synergistic effects of enhancing the adhesive strength relative to the prior solvent detergents.
