Abstract

The mechanism consists of 2 thread blowers, and a cutting mechanism and it is placed in a sewing machine. The belt is sewn and, at the same time, the preparation for the next stage of sewing (finish of the belt) is done automatically.

Description

Mechanism for ripping and cutting trousers belts
The invention concerns a mechanism which is put in a sewing machine in order to increase production at a particular stage of sewing.
During the stage of sewing trousers belts, trousers are sewn one after another. After sewing, someone has to separate them cutting each belt at the beginning and end with a pair of manual scissors.
This preparation for the next stage of sewing is called "finish of the belt". Using the mechanism of the invention mentioned here, the process of ripping off and cutting is done automatically. So we can save time and increase production at the same time.
The basic element of this mechanism is that ripping is achieved by using two thread blowers. The blowers are made of copper and they are 5 mm in diameter and 8 cm in length each. They are placed at a particular position in the sewing machine and are activated by two sensors. The blowers blow air to the two needles of the sewing machine at a specific point and the ripping is achieved. The working order is as follows: 1) The operator puts the trousers in the sewing machine. 2) As the sewing machine does the first stitches, the trousers go through the first sensor. 3) The blowers are activated and, as a result, the knitting of the thread is stopped. In conclusion: as long as the blowers operate the belt remains unsewn and consequently, ripped off. When the trousers go through the second sensor, the blowers stop operating
This lasts for 3 cm, which is the distance between the two sensors. This procedure is repeated each time the trousers enter and exit the stage of the belt sewing. The stage of cutting comes next and it is done by a cutting mechanism which is placed at the back of the sewing machine. The mechanism operates with air and it is also activated by a sensor. The working order is as follows: When the trousers go through the sensor, the cutting mechanism is activated and the belt is cut at the beginning. When the sensor functions again the mechanism is activated after some set time and the belt is cut at the end too. The main advantage here is that when the belt is cut, the distance between the beginning and the end is always the same. Another important feature is that an electronic circuit supports the mechanism for ripping and cutting trousers belts. As a result, the same process is precisely repeated.

Claims

1. The mechanism for ripping and cutting trousers belts consists of two blowers, one cutting mechanism, three sensors, 1 electronic value, 1 air pressure regulator and an electronic circuit. The ripping is done by blowers and the cutting by a cutting mechanism.
2. According to claim 1, the characteristic of the mechanism for ripping and cutting trousers belts is that the ripping and cutting of the belts are done automatically.
3. According to claims 1 and 2, the characteristic of the mechanism for ripping and cutting trousers belts is that is consists of 2 thread blowers for the ripping and a cutting mechanism, which are activated by an electronic circuit in adjustable time.
