Field of the Invention:
The present invention is a dual structure can, in detail, which is devised to enable
the user to easily blend and consume blended liquor.
Description of the Prior Art:
The present invention is a dual structure can devised to manufacture blended
liquor. In detail, a detachable mini-container is attached inside the beer can, which is
sealed up containing a second liquor or beverage. Therefore, the user is able to make and
consume blended Uquor easily using this dual structure can when willing to mix and
drink two different beverages.
Generally, blended liquor is made by pouring and mixing two or more different
liquor or beverage in turn in a container.
Blended liquor is regarded as a common way of drinking amongst
The habitual drinkers, and the want for blended liquor has been continuous for a long
time. However, since more than two beverages are needed when blending liquors and it is
considerably difficult to match the adequate ratio, difficulties reside in creating blended
liquor with the best ratio.
Especially, as for the widely spread beer can, an additional container is needed in
order to make a blended liquor, not mentioning a second beverage, and since it is difficult to obtain an additional container at general situations and the second beverage must be
purchased by bottles, the situation is likely to turn out to be wasting too much beverages
than necessary.
In accordance to the background mentioned above, the present invention is
devised to solve the problems revealed. It is to provide a dual structure can which enables
manufacturing blended liquor easily at any time or place, with the detachable mini-
container sealed up containing a second beverage, attached to the inner side of the beer
can.
Another aim of the invention is to provide a dual structure can which is capable
of storing the best amount of the second beverage according to the amount of the beer in
the main container and enables the user to manufacture blended liquor at the best ratio.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
In order to accomplish the aims mentioned above, the dual structure can devised
to manufacture blended liquor is provided, which comprises: said cylindrical main
container accompanied by a lid sealing the upper opening of the container, and said mini-
container which is attached to the bottom side of the main lid and placed inside of the
main container. The first aperture is formed on the said main lid, and a second aperture is
formed on the upper face of the said mini-container, where a detachable opening
assembly is equipped so that it can seal the first and second aperture at the same time.
In this case, the said opening assembly comprises; the pressure assembly which is divided into two sections; the handle section where the user may insert a finger to
apply pressure, and the pressure section by which direct pressure is inflicted to the first
sealing assembly, and the said first sealing assembly which is placed below the said
pressure assembly with the shape and thickness corresponding to that of the first aperture
on the main lid and therefore constituting its seal, which also has a flap for the first
opening when consuming the beer only, and the second sealing assembly which is placed
below the said first sealing assembly with the shape and thickness corresponding to that
of the second aperture on the mini-container and therefore constituting its seal, and the
rivet assembly which integrates the pressure assembly, first sealing assembly and second
sealing assembly into a single unit and which also functions as a fulcrum of the said
pressure assembly.
In accordance with one aspect, on opening the flap of the first sealing assembly,
in order to limit the folding angle of the flap, the upper edge of the mini-container
mentioned above is inclined to form a slant.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERED EMBODIMENTS
The purpose of this invention is to provide a dual structure can to manufacture
blended liquor easily at any time or place with a built-in mini-container, which can be
easily detached and mixed with the contents of the main container when needed. As shown in Fig.l or Fig. 2b, the dual structure can of the present invention
comprises : a mini-container(40) attached to the inner side of the lid(20) which is placed
inside the cylindrical main container(30), the opening assembly(50) which is attached
from the said lid(20) to the upper part of the mini-container(40). Fig. 3 a is the magnified perspective view of the opening assembly of the dual structure can of this invention, and Fig. 3b the perspective view of Fig. 3 a from the bottom, and Fig. 4 is the cross-sectional view of the dual structure can according to the execution example of this invention.
As described in Fig. 3a or Fig. 4, the first aperture(23) is formed on the said
main lid(20), and the second aperture(43) is formed on the upper face of the mini-
container(40), where the detachable opening assembly(50) is equipped so that it can seal
the first aperture(23) on the lid(20) and second aperture(43) on the mini-container(40) at
the same time.
The said first aperture(23) is to be used when consuming beer or other beverages
in the main container, and the said second aperture(43) is to be used when a second
beverage is to be discharged into the main container(30).
In this case, the said opening assembly(50) is an apparatus to open the beer can
when drinking the beer only, or the blended liquor of beer mixed with a second beverage,
which is integrated into a single unit by the rivet assembly(52), and is composed of the
pressure assembly(53), the first sealing assembly(55), and the second sealing
assembly(57).
The said pressure assembly(53) is mounted on the very top of the opening assembly(50), which is composed of the handle section(53a), where the user may insert a
finger to add pressure, and the pressure section(53b), which inflicts direct force.
Meanwhile, the said pressure assembly(53) will use the rivet assembly(52) to accomplish
its task.
The first sealing assembly(55) is on the lower part of the pressure assembly(53)
and seals the first aperture(23) of the said main lid(20). Therefore, the first sealing
assembly(55) has the same shape and thickness of that of the said first aperture(23),
where a flap(56) is arranged on one side which is used on the first opening when
consuming only the beer.
Furthermore, the second sealing assembly(57) is attached below the said first
sealing assembly(55) which seals the second aperture(43) on the mini-container(40).
Likewise, the second sealing assembly(57) has the same shape and thickness of that of
the second aperture(43).
And when the flap(56) of the first sealing assembly(55) is opened, the folding
angle of the flap is limited since a certain edge of the upper part of the said mini-
container is inclined to form a slant in order to block the flap on contact.
On the contact line where the opening assembly(50) and the first aperture meets,
a first perforated line(21) is formed for easy opening, and likewise on the contact line
where the opening assembly (50) and the second aperture meets, a second perforated
line(41) is formed for easy opening. BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, a specific description of the operation of the dual structure can for manufacturing blended liquor according to this invention will follow.
As described in Fig. 5, in the case of executing the first opening in order to drink only the beer and not the blended liquor, the handle section(53a) of the opening assembly(50) should be raised upwards, and the pressure section(53b) will push the flap(56) due to lever action on the first sealing assembly(55). Then, the flap(56) will open tracing a certain length of the first aperture(21) and be pushed into the main container(30), where the folding will stop when it meets the slant(45) of the mini- container(40). Thereby, the first aperture(23) is partially open and the dual structure can is ready to discharge only the beer.
Meanwhile, on making and consuming blended liquor, the second opening is executed by pulling the handle section(53a) backwards from the first opening status, where the pulling force will transmit to the rivet assembly(52), and go on to the first sealing assembly(55), further going on to the second sealing assembly(57), and finally fully opening the first sealing assembly(55) and the second sealing assembly(57), thereby being separated completely. When the second sealing assembly(57) is detached from the said mini-container(40), the mini-container(40) will submerge to the bottom of the main container(30) losing every support, and then the contents of the mini-container(40) will flow into the main container through the second aperture(43), thereby blending with beer. Therefore, the blended liquor of beer and the second beverage can be consumed through the fully open first aperture(23). INDUSTRIAL APPLICABDLΠY
As mentioned above, the present invention which is the dual structure can has a
merit that it enables manufacturing a blended liquor easily at any time or place, with the
detachable mini-container sealed containing second beverage, which is attached to the
inner side of the beer can, and that it is capable of storing the best amount of the second
beverage according to the amount of the beer and therefore enable the user to
manufacture blended liquor with the best ratio.
Meanwhile, since the examples of execution described above are that of the most proper ways of usage, it is obvious they are not limited to these examples and one who has the knowledge of this area can try to transform and remake this invention diversely within the range and aspect of this invention stated in "What is claimed is" following below.
