Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé pour produire une partie en saillie ou un système d'attache polymère unitaire comprenant un support mince résistant et souple, ainsi qu'une pluralité d'éléments de crochet minces espacés, qui font saillie de la surface supérieure du support unitaire. Ce procédé consiste à extruder une résine thermoplastique à travers un plateau matrice conçu pour former une couche de base et des crêtes, des nervures ou des éléments de crochet faisant saillie de la surface de la couche de base. Lorsque la matrice forme les crêtes ou nervures espacées, la forme de la section transversale des éléments de crochet est produite par le plateau matrice et l'épaisseur initiale des éléments de crochet est obtenue par découpe transversale des crêtes à des emplacements espacés sur leur longueur, afin de former des parties de découpe discrètes des crêtes. Un étirage longitudinal ultérieur de la couche de support (dans la direction des crêtes dans la direction de la machine) permet de séparer ces parties de découpe des crêtes, ces parties de découpe formant ensuite des éléments de crochet séparés. Les éléments de crochet extrudés ou les éléments de crochet à nervure découpée sont ensuite soumis à un traitement thermique, ce qui implique le retrait d'au moins une partie d'au moins l'épaisseur de la partie de tête de crochet de 5 à 90 %, de préférence de 30 à 90 %.
