Abstract

The invention relates to a method for charging and/or discharging energy sources, especially batteries, accumulators, and any rechargeable voltage sources, by means of a battery charger which is connected to the poles of the energy source. According to the inventive method, a voltage is applied to the poles of the energy source. The battery charger supplies positive and/or negative pulses to the energy source, in the form of voltages and currents.
