ENERGY SAVING AND EASY TO MANUFACTURE AIR / GAS HEATER
DESCRIPTION
1. Field of Invention:
This invention relates generally to air / gas heater. More specifically, this invention relates to energy saving and easy to manufacture air / gas heater.
2. Background Art:
The term air /gas heater is used generally to describe a heating system for
heating air or gas. This air / gas heaters finds use in domestic, personal,
Industrial, aviation and automobile applications.
The following description particularly describes and ascertains the
nature of this invention and the manner in which it is to be
performed:-
The heater of present invention can be manufactured using the following:
1. Using either ceramic square/ rectangular channels or ceramic round
tubes (as may be required).
2. Electric resistance wire ( heating wire ).
3. Heat insulation material.
4. Ceramic/ metal or any other suitable material can.
The heater of instant invention is therefore useful in domestic,
personal, Industrial, aviation and automobile applications.

have found to save more than 50% of electrical energy compared to the
conventional Air/ Gas Heater and also it is easy to manufacture.
AIR/ GAS HEATER TO BE MANUFACTURED USING THE SQUARE OR
RECTANGULAR CHANNELS.
The ceramic raw material is kneaded with binders and pushed through
feed holes entering an inlet face of the die and extending through the body
of the die to convey extrudeable material to the discharge slots
interconnected with each other to form a square/ rectangle, reforming the
extrudeable material into an square or rectangle channeled structure of
required length in the course of discharge form the outlet face of the die,
after required length is extruded it is cut using a sharp knife or wire. After
extrusion the channeled structures are dried in conventional drier or
microwave oven depending upon the wall thickness and also the
composition of material, later it is sintered at required temperature and
further cut to the required size depending upon the capacity of the air / gas
heater to be manufactured using the square or rectangular channels.

tube, reforming the extrudable material into an required dia tube structure
of required length in the course of discharge form the outlet face of the die,
after required length is extruded it is cut using a sharp knife or wire. After
extrusion the tubes are dried in conventional drier or microwave oven
depending upon the wall thickness and also the composition of material,
later it is sintered at required temperature and further cut to the required
size depending upon the capacity of the air / gas heater to be
manufactured using the tubes.
Electric resistance wire ( heating wire ) is passed through the
square / rectangular channeled structures or tubes one after the other to
form a row of channeled structures (or) tubes over the wire and once the
required length of the wire is covered by the square channeled structures
(or) tubes, the square channeled structures (or ) tubes along with the wire
are first arranged side by side to achieve the required width and then
similar layers are arranged to achieve the required height, (or) using the
tubes a circular assembly can also be made.
The complete arrangement is know encapsulated in ceramic (or) any
other material casing as may be required. If required further heat insulation
is provided between the assembly and the can and also outside the can if
required.
The two ends of the wire are connected to the electrical supply and if
needed ceramic tubes are used for insulation purpose.
When electricity is passed through the electric resistance wire
( heating wire ) the assembly gets heated up and when Air (or) Gas is
passed through the channels hot air (or) gas is delivered form the other
side of the assembly. ENERGY SAVING AND EASY TO MANUFACTURE

safe to operate, cost effective and compact in size.
