Abstract

On demande à des individus de fournir des informations sur leurs préférences relatives à une pluralité d'attributs. De façon analogue, on fournit des informations relatives à chacune d'une pluralité d'alternatives d'après les mêmes attributs. Lorsqu'une pluralité d'individus manifestent leur désir d'obtenir une recommandation applicable au groupe entier par rapport aux alternatives possibles, les préférences de chaque individu pour chaque attribut sont estimées en ce qui concerne la similitude avec la manifestation de chaque alternative vis-à-vis de chaque attribut. Les pondérations indiquant l'importance alternative de chaque attribut pour chaque individu peuvent servir à pondérer les résultats des estimations individuelles. Les classements individuels qui en résultent pour chaque alternative sont ensuite combinés dans un résultat de groupe pour chaque alternative. Au stade suivant, les alternatives peuvent être classées conformément au résultat de leur groupe respectif et présentées à la pluralité d'individus. La présente invention peut s'appliquer de façon bénéfique à un système destiné à établir des recommandations de restaurants et similaires.
