Abstract

The invention relates to an adaptive optical scanning device for apparatuses for the recording and/or reproduction of information on optical recording media, which improves the recording and/or reproduction with curved optical recording media. According to the invention the optical scanning device has a lens holder (LH), whose elastic support is embodied differently with regard to its compliance at both sides of the lens holder (LH), so that the actuator is automatically tilted in the event of a deflection in the focus direction, in order to adapt to the curvature of a curved recording medium. The area of application relates to the production of scanning devices for optical recording media which are provided for the recording and/or reproduction of information with recording media.
