Abstract

The present invention relates to the kneading parts that can move repeatedly inward and outward is fixed on the vertical and horizontal shafts that is rotated by the driving tool, kneads repeatedly user's neck and shoulders to that can relieve user's stiffened muscles. Because it is possible to fix this massaging machine at the back of chair or the bed, the user can relieve his stiffened muscles at his neck and shoulders while sitting on a chair or laying himself down on a bed.

Description

MASSAGING MACHINE FOR NECK AND SHOULDERS
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Field of the Invention:
The invention relates generally to a massaging machine which is contrived to have the functions to knead particularly the neck and the shoulders, in where the most fatigues are accumulated among various parts of body. In detail, it is contrived to relieve the user's accumulated fatigues by linking the neck kneader with the shoulder kneader, which are
repeatedly operated on the single part of the body.
Description of the Prior Art:
Generally, massaging machines which have various functions to relieve locally the fatigues that have been accumulated in body are being commercialized. Among these massaging machines, the massaging machines or massaging chairs which give the regular
impacts on back, calf, and wrist have been presented. But, the technique that can knead automatically neck or shoulder has not been yet proposed. So, many people relieves their
fatigues of neck and shoulders, in where the most fatigues are accumulated, with others'
help.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is a massaging machine which is contrived to have the functions to knead particularly the neck and the shoulders, in where the most fatigues are accumulated among various parts of body. In detail, it is contrived to relieve the user's accumulated fatigues by linking the neck kneader with the shoulder kneader, which are repeatedly operated on the single part of the body.
The present invention consists of as followings: the driving tool which includes the deceleration tool made to reduce the RPM of the both side of the driving shaft, that is rotated by a motor; the shoulder kneader in which two kneading parts are devised at the
vertical shaft to knead shoulders at a regular interval; the neck kneader in which the kneading part to knead the neck is devised at the inside of the horizontal shaft that is linked with the vertical shaft by a couple of helical gears.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
The aforementioned aspects and other features of the present invention will be explained in the following description, taken in conjunction with the accompanying
drawings, wherein:
Fig. 1 is the perspective view that shows the whole structure of the present invention.
Fig. 2 is the perspective view that shows the back of the structure which is
shown in Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is the front view that shows the operating of the neck kneader, which is a component of the present invention.
Fig. 4 is the front view that shows the operating of the shoulders kneader, which is a component of the present invention.
Fig. 5 is the perspective view that shows the assembled present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be described in detail by way of a preferred embodiment with reference to accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 is the perspective view that shows the whole structure of the present invention. Fig. 2 is the perspective view that shows the back of the structure which is shown in Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is the front view that shows the operating of the neck kneader. Fig. 4 is the front view that shows the operating of the shoulders kneader. And, Fig. 5 is the perspective view that shows the assembled present invention.
As shown in the above figures, the present invention consists of the driving tool(lθ) that rotates the vertical shaft(l 1) which is devised vertically and reduces RPM of driving shaft(3) rotated by motor(l) with deceleration tool, the shoulder kneader(20) that
kneads shoulders while repeatedly moving inward and outward by the eccentric cam which is fixed to the vertical shaft(l l) which is rotated by the above mentioned driving
tool(lθ), and the neck kneader that kneads neck while is linked with and devised horizontally to the above mentioned vertical shaft(l 1).
The above mentioned driving tool(lθ) consists of the motor(l) which is fixed on the prop(lOO), the driving shaft(3) which its both ends are connected with the ecelerator(5), and the decelerator(5) which reduces RPM of the above mentioned motor(l). Once the above mentioned motor(l) works, it rotates the driving shaft(3) thorough the belt(4) that is tied to the pulleys(2a, 3a), which are fixed to the shaft of motor(2) and the driving shaft(3).
Because the RPM of driving shaft(2) is very high, the decelerator(5) is contrived to have the structure that the gears(6) which is set at the both ends of driving shaft(2) and
the gear(8) which is fixed at the inside edge of the vertical shaft(l 1) are linked with each other.
The shoulder kneader(20), which rotates in low speed by the above mentioned ecelerator and kneads shoulders, shown the structure that two kneading parts(13) are devised at the regular interval on the vertical shaft(l l) that has a certain length. At the
inside of the above mentioned two kneading parts(13), the housing(15) in which the eccentric cam(14) is devised is fixed. The above mentioned housing(15) is closely linked with the two rollers(16) by the bracket(17).
To be able to control the inside kneading parts(13)' interval according to the width of user's shoulders, the end of controlling stick(15a) which is projected over the
upper side of housing(15) is inserted into the hole(50a) which is made on the supporting plate(50) that is fixed to the prop(lOO) , and is movable forward and backward.
According to the above mentioned structure, once the vertical shaft(l 1) is rotated,
the roller(16) which is fixed with the bracket(17) moves inward and outward as much as the eccentric angle of the eccentric cam(14). Thus, this massaging machine kneads user's shoulder.
The neck kneader(30), which kneads user's neck while working together with the above mentioned shoulder kneader(20), has the structure that the both ends of horizontal
shaft(21) at which the two kneading parts(23) that moves inward and outward is fixed at the regular interval is connected with the fixed container plate(60) that is made at the ρrop(lOO).
In the inside of the above mentioned kneading parts(23), the eccentric cam(22) is fixed as the one component and moves inward and outward as much as the eccentric angle. Thus the massaging machine kneads user's neck.
Also, the helical gear(25) which is fixed on the one side of the kneading pars(23)
is linked with the helical gear(19) that is devised on the vertical shaft(l l), so that the power can be transmitted.
In the present invention which has the above mentioned structure, only the parts
which the motor(l) that is one component of the driving tool(lθ), the driving shaft(3) and the decelerator(5) are located are covered with the hard case(70). While the kneading
parts(13) that kneads shoulders and the kneading parts(23) that kneads neck are covered with the materials as such soft rag(80).
The present invention can be fixed on the upper of the back of a chair in office,
so that the user can be massaged while sitting on the chair. Or, it can be located on the upper of bed or mattress, so that the user can relieve his fatigues that have been
accumulated in his neck and shoulders. This machine works, as followings. After locating the two kneading parts(23) that is fixed on the horizontal shaft(21) on the outside of user's neck and the kneading parts(13) that is fixed on the vertical shaft(13) on the forward and backward side of user's shoulders, once the user put the switch on the operational panel at ON, the motor(l) starts to work.
The driving power of the above mentioned motor(l) is transmitted via the belt(4) which is tied to the pulleies(2a, 3 a) which is fixed on the shaft of motor(2) and the driving shaft(3), so that the driving shaft(3) is rotated.
The driving shaft(3) that is rotated in high RPM is decelerated by the decelerator(5) which is devised at the both side of the driving shaft, so that the eccentric cam(14) can rotate the fixed vertical shaft(l 1).
As the vertical shaft(l l) is rotated in this way, the outer kneading parts(13) is moved repeatedly inward and outward of user's shoulders by the eccentric cam(14). This has the effect like as the kneading by hands.
Whenever the above mentioned vertical shaft(ll) is rotated one time, user gets one time of kneading. As the kneading parts(13) moves inward, it presses the user's
shoulder. As they moves outward, it relieves the pressed shoulders. So, the repetitions of this movement can relieve the stiffened user's muscles in shoulders. The horizontal shaft(21), which makes the kneading parts(23) that is located at
the both side of user's neck, is rotated by the linkage of the helical gear(19) that is fixed on the above mentioned vertical shaft(l l) and the helical gear(25) that is fixed on the
horizontal shaft(21). Once the horizontal shaft(21) is rotated, the kneading parts(23) move inwards and outwards repeatedly by the eccentric cam(22), so that the massaging machine repeatedly kneads user's neck and relieves the user's fatigue.

Claims

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:
1. The massaging machine that have the function to knead neck and shoulders, consists of : the driving tool which includes the deceleration tool made to reduce the RPM of the both side of the driving shaft, that is rotated by a motor; the shoulder kneader in which two kneading parts are devised at the vertical shaft to knead shoulders at a regular
interval; the neck kneader in which the kneading part to knead the neck is devised at the inside of the horizontal shaft that is linked with the vertical shaft by a couple of helical gears.
2. The massaging machine that have the function to knead neck and shoulders whose kneading parts moves repeatedly inward and outward by the eccentric cam that is fixed
inside in it.
