Abstract

Hair generation and hair growth stimulating compositions based on plant extracts. A composition suitable for external use comprising e.g. 4...7 parts of Papaver rhoeas seeds, 4...7 parts of sodium bicarbonate, 4...7 parts of honey, 4...7 parts of Citrus lemon fruit, 4...7 parts of Pinnus sylvestris buds, 4...7 parts of Betula verucosa and 10...35 parts of distilled water, the parts being expressed by weight.

Description

COMPOSITION FOR THE REGENERATION AND STIMULATION OF

HAIR GROWTH

The present invention relates to a composition for stimulation of hair regeneration and growth, used in the treatment of alopecia, and designed to be used in cosmetology and dermatology.

Alopecia is a disease characterized by the: lack of hairpieces located on the head or on the entire cutaneous area. Alopecia may be due to genetic inheritance, androgynous hormones secretion, seborrhea and various fungi and mycosis located at the hairpiece root.

There is knowledge of some treatments based on plants, which contain the association of some plant based extracts and which act locally and internally, but which have only preventive effects, stopping the hair loss, but which cannot cause the hair occurrence instead of the lost hair.

The composition is for internal and external use, and is in a cream form external use and powder- internal use. The cream composition is constituted for the external use from a synergic association of: 4...7 parts Papaver rhoeas, 4 ... 7 parts sodium bicarbonate, 4...7 parts honey, 4...7 parts fruits of Citrus lemon, 4...7 parts buds of Pinus sylvestris, 4 ...7 parts Betula verrucosa in aqueous solution. The cream thus obtained is applied on the dry scalp, 30 ... 100 g once a day, for a period of 6 ... 12 months and even more. The composition for internal use is constituted from a synergic association of 6... 12 parts Oryza sativa, 6... 12 parts Plantago major, 6... 12 parts Linum usitatissimum, 6... 12 parts Rosa canina, 6... 12 parts Taraxacum officinale, 6 ...12 parts Humulus lupulus, 6... 12 parts Tilia cordata, 6... 12 parts Pinus sylvestris, 6 . . . 12 parts Primula officinalis. The powder thus obtained is administered 5 g three times a day, for a period of 6 ... 12 months (concomitantly with the external use cream).

The composition is a mixture, made out of extracts of plants, for the purpose of hair regeneration and hair growth stimulation along with the healing of the skin diseases (even psoriasis). The composition formula is based on a unique mixture of local plants that have grown up in ecological conditions and spontaneous phlora. The composition is extremely complex and contains among others poppy seeds. The poppy seeds play an active role in the process of removing sick cells from the head skin, the dead hair, the activation of sick hair roots and also the intensification of blood flow through the veins.

The external part of the composition (cream) is to be used by aplicating the product directly on the dry scalp and all along the hair. Once done that, the skin head and the hair must to be massaged with energy for 20 to 30 minutes with the fingertips or the palm of the hand in circular motions. After, the head must to stay cover with a plastic hood for 30 minutes to let the active principles of the product to work over. Next step of the procedure is hair rincing. The rincing will be done with warm water in abundancy, until the external part of the composition (cream) is removed totaly. No shampoo, conditioner, balm, soap or other cosmetic products intended for hair care will be used. The external part of the composition (cream) replaces all the above mentioned substances. be developed further - determinated by personal needs. The external part of the composition (cream) will remove the dead cells of the headskin, will clean the hair roots and revitalize them so that at the end the results are going to be obvious : hair looking healthy with a lively colour and a nice shine.

To prevent the hair loss : at least once a week instead of shampoo, conditioner, balm or soap. It will be used as long as is considered necessarely.

To stop the hair loss : each day for 5 to 20 days, making a pause each Saturday and

Sunday.

For the regenaration of the hair : The number of „periods" differs according with the surface of the head that was affected by the baldness. A „period" consists in alternating six times two weeks of daily tratemant with a pause of one week. A „period" will look like this :

Between two „periods" it is also a two month pause. Personalized variations can be done.

• For baldness covering 5 to 15% of the head it is recomanded to follow one tratament „period"

• For baldness covering 15 to 30% of the head is recomanded to follow two tratament „ρeriods"

• For baldness covering more than 30% of the head is recomanded to follow three to five tratament „periods"

To obtain results, comitment, focused attention, patience and perseverance are required.

The external part of the composition (cream) together with an internal „clensing" cure (the internal part of the composition - powder) that will equilibrate the body functions and will deal with the internal causes and diseases that generate different types of baldness or hair loss.

Using this product that replace shampoo, conditioner, balm, soap or other cosmetic or pharmaceutical products intended for hair care has the following effects :

1. the imediat stop of hair lost

2. brings back the the revitalization of hair, brings back the volume, the colour, the indurance, the shine, the hold

3. it hinders the appearence of skin diseases, of hair diseases and the degadation of hair.

4. the regeneration of the hair will be made after the principle :" last hair piece lossed, first to be regenerated"

5. prevents the baldness no matter the internal or external factors that generates it.

6. the general health is improved once the treatement made (must not forget that a healthy hair is the expression of a healthy body)

Massaging with energy the head with the external composition might have sometime as secondary effects itching and very small wounds. There has to be no worries, itching and the small wounds means that the blood circulation is activated again and that that surface will be the first to have the hair regenerated. The internal part of the composition (powder) is to be used to equilibrate the body functions and to deal with the internal causes and diseases that generate different types of baldness or hair loss (concomitantly with the external use cream). Five grams of the internal part of the composition (powder) -one teaspoon full- is to be swalowed each morning on empty stomach. After swalowing the internal part of the composition (powder) 1 litter of plane water must to be drunk slowly in small sips durring the following hour of time. One hour after swalowing the internal part of the composition (powder) no other liquid than plane water is to be drunk. Two hours after swalowing the internal part of the composition (powder) no medication or drug will be taken.

In cases where the treatment with the internal and external composition starts after not such a long time after the hair loss occured the administration of the powder will be made for two weeks, on daily basis followed by a 60 days pause and another session of 14 days. In cases where the treatment with the internal and external composition starts after a very long time after the hair loss or baldness occured the administration of the powder will be made daily for as long as it is necesary and until the diseases or disorders that generated the hair problems are going to be cured.

The use of this product is recommended to people that have diseases and disorders generating hair degeneration and hair loss without the possibility of natural regeneration (it is known that healthy hair losses around 50-100 hair pieces a day, number that is naturally regenerated in time). The use of the composition internally and externally is recommended to all persons that want to have the scalp covered by a beautiful and healthy hair, being addressed especially to young people with galloping baldness.

Nature itself offers answers for a great part of the health problems that we have. Many of the naturals remedies are inherited from our predecessors and many others expect to be discovered. All we have to do is to want, to know how to watch, to listen and to search carefully around us. Old diseases have old or new remedies, but for the new diseases appeared along with the advance of the civilization new remedies must to be founded, starting from the knowledge that we already have. The composition for external use (the cream) is applied on the skin, by massage, for a period of 20... 30 minutes, daily, with periodical pauses, for a time, depending on the desired effect, the duration and the extension of the alopecia.

The vegetal composition for internal use is administered daily, in powder form, 5 g a day, with periodical pauses, depending on the desired effect, the duration and the extension of the alopecia. The composition for internal use is administered concomitantly with the external use composition, over the same period of time.

An example for carrying out the invention is given hereinafter.

For obtaining the external use composition 30 g Papaver rhoeas, 15 g sodium bicarbonate, 90 g honey, 30 g fruits of Citrus lemon, 30 g buds of Pinus sylvestris, 15 g leaves of Betula verrucosa, up to 500 g distilled water are associated. The cream thus obtained is applied on the dry scalp, 30 ... 100 g once a day, for a period of 6 ... 12 months and even longer.

For obtaining the internal use composition 10 g Oiyza sativa, 15 g Plantago major, 15 g Rosa canina, 15 g Linum usitatissimum, 10 g Taraxacum officinale, 10 g Humulus lupulus, 10 g Tilia cordata, 10 g Pinus sylvestris, 10 g Primula officinalis are associated. The powder thus obtained is administered 5 g three times a day, for a period of 6 ... 12 months (concomitantly with the external use cream).
