DESCRIPTION OF C-CLAMP
Futher in accordance with the invention a method to attach an object to the flexible suction pipe of a pool-cleaner has been designed so that no damage is caused to the said pipe when objects are attached to, or removed from the pipe. The c-shaped designed clamp is expandable and can easily be clipped on or off the flexible suction pipe of a swimming-pool cleaner. Once the C-clamp is clipped onto the flexible pipe it will remain in possession untill physicle removed by hand. The c- shaped expandable clamp can be moulded in conjuction with the desired object to attach to the flexible pipe, or it can be manufactured separately from the desired object, and glued or ri vetted to the object at a later stage.
The C-clamp is designed with a hump down the middle line on its inside diametre to fit into the groove of the pool-cleaner flexible suction pipe. This method prevents the C- clamp attached to the object from slipping over the grooves of the flexible pipe when the pool-cleaner is in operation. Colorific C- clamps without any objects attached to it can also be placed at strategic points along the pipe to prevent the flexible pipe from scraping through against the rough sides of the swimming-pool. Objects attached to the C-clamp can be any shape, size , colour or weight depending on the purpose for it as set out in the SUMMARY OF INVENTION points 1 - 5
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
The method to attach an object for purposes as set out in the SUMMARY OF
INVENTION POINTS 1 - 5 is further decribed by Figure 1 and Figure 2 of the drawings.
Figure 1 shows a sectional view through the flexible pool-cleaner suction pipe with the C-clamp around it.
Figure 2 shows an unfolded C-clamp.
ABSTRACT OF INVENTION
This invention relates to utilize the vibration and motion caused by a swimming-pool cleaner when in operation in a swimming-pool through the flexible suction pipe connected to the pool-cleaner on the one side and the swimming-pool filter pump on the other side. It also relates to utilize the said flexible pipe when the pool-cleaner is not in operation for the purpose of creating a hook for any attachments as set out in the SUMMARY OF INVENTION points 1 - 5 .
