Abstract
A sintered product for a thermistor element containing Sr, Y, Mn, Al, Fe, Si and O, characterized in that it contains both crystal phases of a perovskite-type oxide and a garnet-type oxide and also contains at least one crystal phase of a Sr-Al based oxide and a Sr-Fe based oxide. In one embodiment, the crystal phase of the perovskite-type oxide is identified as YFeO3 and/or YAlO3, and the crystal phase of the garnet -type oxide is identified as Y3Al5O12 and/or Y3Al2Fe3O12, by the measurement of powder X-ray diffractometry.
