Abstract

L'invention concerne l'attribution dynamique de tâches de traitement au moyen d'un matériel à rendement variable. L'invention permet également d'attribuer des tâches à des ressources informatiques selon leur capacité à exécuter cette tâche. En particulier, selon un des mode de réalisation de l'invention, une ressource informatique peut rejeter une tâche dont le type est incompatible avec la ressource informatique ou qui ne peut être exécutée par la ressource dans les délais. Cette tâche peut être alors attribuée à une autre ressource informatique. Selon un autre mode de réalisation, une table contenant des informations relatives aux capacités disponibles des ressources informatiques associées au système est mise à jour. Cette table peut être mise à jour de manière dynamique, au fur et à mesure des variations des capacités des ressources informatiques. Les tâches peuvent être attribuées sur la base de ladite table pour garantir que seules les ressources informatiques capables d'exécuter une tâche donnée dans les délais impartis reçoivent une tâche. Par ailleurs, l'invention permet aux ressources informatiques présentant des caractéristiques de rendement différentes, et notamment variables, d'être intégrées à un système informatique, et d'être ajoutées et supprimées de manière dynamique.
