Abstract

A control device of a variable displacement compressor and a variable displacement control device of a refrigerating cycle capable of providing the optimum responsiveness and stability even under different conditions while improving the efficiency of the compressor in a structure for controlling a control chamber pressure by using a control valve electrically controlled by control signals from the outside without using a pressure sensitive material. The variable displacement compressor (3), wherein a crank chamber pressure is regulated by electrically controlling, by the control signals from the outside, a pressure control valve (2) allowing a pressure to be supplied from a discharge space (27) to a crank chamber (24) and a pressure to be discharged from the crank chamber (24) to a suction space (26) so as to control a discharge capacity, and the gain of a calculation expression for calculating the control signals is varied according to the magnitude of a physical amount affecting an air conditioning state.
