Abstract
A bending apparatus includes ram operation detection means (3B) for detecting the position and speed of a ram (20), worker operation detection means (3C) for detecting the position and speed of a predetermined part of the body of a worker (T), and ram/worker interference prediction means (3D) for predicting whether the ram (20) and the predetermined part of the body of the worker (T) interfere each other according to the position and speed of the predetermined part of the body detected by the worker operation detection means (3C) and the position and speed of the ram (20) detected by the ram operation detection means (3B).
