Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Verminderung von Speckle in einem optischen System durch Verringerung der räumlichen Kohärenz eines Lichtstrahlenbündels. Erfindungsgemäss wird ein Lichtstrahlenbündel an wenigstens zwei reflektierenden Oberflächen reflektiert, die jeweils eine phasenverschiebende Mikro-strukturierung aufweisen, über welche das Lichtstrahlenbündel (B) in Teilstrahlenbündel (B') aufgespalten wird, deren optische Weglängen sich um mehr als die zeitliche Kohärenzlänge unterscheiden. Damit werden bei weitestgehender Aufrechterhaltung der Leuchtintensität des Lichtstrahlenbündels Speckle vermindert.
