Abstract

A digital camera system includes a digital camera having an information generation unit, a function unit, and a first communication unit, and a control apparatus having processing unit for processing output information of the information generation unit to obtain control information for the function unit and a second communication unit. The output information from the information generation unit is transmitted from the first communication unit to the second communication unit. The output information received by the second communication unit and processed by the processing unit into control information is transmitted from the second communication unit to the first communication unit. The function unit is controlled according tot the control information received by the first communication unit.
