Abstract

A polysiloxane having in the molecule at least one hydroxyl or alkoxy group bonded to a silicon atom, 2 to 100 silicon atoms, and at least one perfluoroalkyl group is a novel useful substance which exhibits both an inhibitory effect against snow- and ice-coating in snowing or at low temperatures and an effect of making snow slide off at elevated temperatures.
