Abstract

L'invention concerne un courant circulant dans une bobine générant un champ magnétique changeant la polarité magnétique de la bobine tous les 1/50 de seconde. Le champ magnétique généré par le courant circulant dans la bobine change également tous les 1/50 de seconde. En même temps, le champ magnétique autour de chaque spire de chaque bobine change également. Selon la loi de Lenz, le champ magnétique généré dans une bobine réagit toujours contre la source d'alimentation générant le champ magnétique dans la bobine. Lorsque la bobine est installée et qu'elle est alimentée avec, par exemple, 11KV, le champ magnétique de la bobine est activé avec un flux constant de 11KV. Lorsque la foudre s'abat sur une ligne aérienne et que la pointe d'impulsion atteint la ligne aérienne en direction du transformateur par l'intermédiaire de la bobine et qu'elle frappe la bobine, les deux côtés sont alors activés avec une puissance supérieure à 11FV, par exemple 1 000 000 de volts, produisant deux champs électriques opposés. La pointe d'impulsion de la foudre est alors absorbée, dissipée, neutralisée et éliminée. Tout ceci se produit en 1/50 de seconde. La puissance revient ensuite à la normale (11 KV). La pointe d'impulsion de la foudre n'est pas réorientée, mais complètement neutralisée.
