Abstract

An industrially advantageous process for production of VPI-5 or its related crystalline aluminophosphates at a high purity and a high yield. At least one hydroxyalkylamine compound represented by the general formula NR1R2R3 (1) (wherein R1, R2 and R3 each independently represent hydrogen, a linear or branched alkyl group of 1-4 carbons or a linear or branched hydroxyalkyl group of 1-4 carbons with 1-2 hydroxyl groups, and at least one from among R1, R2 and R3 represents a hydroxyalkyl group) is used.
