Abstract

The invention relates to a two-stroke cycle internal combustion heat engine having a connecting rod with indexed swash plates and an indexed mounted compressor. The two swash plates (15, 16) control the pistons (30, 31, 32) and are fixed at an angle α such that the exhaust-side piston (30) is always ahead of the transfer-side piston (31), thereby creating an asymmetry in the transfer/exhaust diagram. The cylinder (4) of the compresser is fixed at an angle β such that its piston (32) is disposed close to the top dead centre thererof when the transfer ports of the engine cylinder (1) have just been closed by the piston (31). In this way, fresh gases are delivered continuously during the entire transfer phase. As a result, the gas flush is optimised and the engine performs well over a wide rotation speed range. Under certain conditions, the inventive engine, which is light, compact and moderately complex, does not burn oil. Said engine is suitable for motorisation in relation to model making with light vehicles.
