Abstract

The invention relates to a cigarette holder with feeding mechanism and fitted lighter making possible easy dosing of cigarettes and with the help of the fixed lighter facilitates lighting of cigarettes. The solution according to the invention eventually is a cigarette holder with feeding mechanism and fitted lighter, provided with inner case for storing and dosing cigarettes, which is characterized by that, the device has a separating plate (3) located inside of a case (28) and also has a pushing mechanism (29) for cigarettes (27) and a lighter (26) is also located inside said case (28), and a feeding mechanism (20) is located on the separating plate (3) and furthermore there is a hole (10) serving for dosing of cigarettes and there is a gap (9) suitable for moving the feeding mechanism (20) and in said gap (9) a sliding button (8) is driven, furthermore there is a gap (11) on the case (28) ensuring guiding of sliding button (12) joining a pushing profile (13) of a pushing mechanism (29) ensuring the forwarding of cigarettes (27), and the device has a press button (7) operating the lighter (26) furthermore the case (28) has a flame opening (4) preferably provided with metal collars serving the guiding of the flame and said device is also provided with a filling opening (5) serving the filling of the lighter (26).

Description

Cigarette holder with feeding mechanism and fitted lighter
The invention relates to a cigarette holder with feeding mechanism and fitted lighter making possible easy dosing of cigarettes and with the help of the fixed lighter facilitates lighting of cigarettes.
There are cigarette smokers who are not able to give up smoking during work or driving. It might give rise to a very dangerous situation if people want to light cigarettes during driving, as attention of the driver is divided between driving and lighting the cigarette.
Lighting a cigarette consists of the following procedure: you must get out the packet of cigarette, one piece should be taken out of the packet, the cigarette must be placed between your lips, the packet should be put down, the lighter should be got out, the cigarette should be lighted, then after lighting the cigarette the packet should be put back to its place. This procedure might detract people's attention while carrying out various actions or while driving, so raising dangerous situations.
According to prior art Hungarian utility model No. HU 2215 makes known a model, which has a housing containing cigarettes. This housing consists of a first main wall, a second main wall opposite the first main wall, a lower wall connecting the first main wall with the second main wall, the upper wall opposite the lower wall, the side walls developed from the lower and upper wall, also opposite each other, where cigarettes are placed parallel the side walls from the lower wall to the upper wall. The first wall of the box is formed in a way, that it is closed and angular towards the outside in relation to the second main wall and the second main wall is provided with a press button opening, furthermore below the press button opening in the inside of the housing it has a press button wall part along the second main wall. Hungarian invention No. HU 215 085 makes known a box with folding lid suitable first of all for making a cigarette holder, shaped as a box created by folding a box body from a front side, first and second side section, bottom side and back side joining each other, furthermore creating a lid after folding and joining the upper front side, the first and second upper side section and the upper side and upper back side determining section elements to be connected to the joint of the back side. The gist of the solution made known in this case is, that parts determining the first and second inner side section join the part determining the back side, first and second upper inner side sections are joining perpendicular to the joint line, the upper part is divided into two parts, and two flaps join the upper back side at the first and second inner side section, while there is a reinforcing section joined the upper front side, which is connected to the first and second upper inner side section.
In the procedure of lighting a cigarette it is known the use of a casing for storing the cigarettes, which does not change in merit the procedure itself, it does not make lighting a cigarette easier, it is advantageous from an aesthetic point of view only.
In the prior art no device is known suitable for dosing and facilitating the lighting of cigarettes.
Our aim with elaborating the invention was to create a device which is suitable in one unit for storing, automatic dosing and at the same time lighting of the dosed cigarette.
When working out the solution according to the invention, we realized, that in case we produce a device that is provided with inner case for storing and dosing cigarettes, and the device has a separating plate located inside of a case and also has a pushing mechanism for cigarettes and a lighter is also located inside said case, and a feeding mechanism is located on the separating plate and furthermore there is a hole serving for dosing of cigarettes and there is a gap suitable for moving the feeding mechanism and in said gap a sliding button is driven, furthermore there is a gap on the case ensuring guiding of sliding button joining a pushing profile of a pushing mechanism ensuring the forwarding of cigarettes, and the device has a press button operating the lighter furthermore the case has a flame opening preferably provided with metal collars serving the guiding of the flame and said device is also provided with a filling opening serving the filling of the lighter, we achieved the set aim.
The invention eventually is a cigarette holder with feeding mechanism and fitted lighter, provided with inner case for storing and dosing cigarettes, which is characterized by that, the device has a separating plate located inside of a case and also has a pushing mechanism for cigarettes and a lighter is also located inside said case, and a feeding mechanism is located on the separating plate and furthermore there is a hole serving for dosing of cigarettes and there is a gap suitable for moving the feeding mechanism and in said gap a sliding button is driven, furthermore there is a gap on the case ensuring guiding of sliding button joining a pushing profile of a pushing mechanism ensuring the forwarding of cigarettes, and the device has a press button operating the lighter furthermore the case has a flame opening preferably provided with metal collars serving the guiding of the flame and said device is also provided with a filling opening serving the filling of the lighter.
In a preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, the feeding mechanism consists of a guiding block fixed to the separating plate and there is a feed bar with spring guided in said guiding block and a sliding button located outside the case joins one curve end of the feed bar and an other flat end of the feed bar is located below hole providing the cigarettes.
In another preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, the pushing mechanism consists of a pushing profile with sticks joining through pivots at both ends, furthermore there is a leaf spring located on the pushing profile with curve grooves on both ends of said pushing profile and sticks fit into said grooves, furthermore the surface of the pushing profile is a curve surface shaped as the surface of cigarettes and a sliding button placed outside the case joins the pushing profile.
In a further preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, the case is assembled of two parts, an upper part and a lower part, in the upper part there is the gap used for moving the feeding mechanism, furthermore there is the press button, flame opening, filling opening of the lighter, furthermore a hole where refill cigarettes can be kept, in the lower part there is the gap for guiding of the sliding button of the pushing mechanism furthermore the hole for cigarettes.
A conic edge is preferably shaped at the separating plate in the hole for holding the refill cigarettes for keeping the refill cigarettes positioned in the hole. A device according to the invention is preferably made of metal and/or plastic, preferably injection molded plastic.
The solution according to the invention is set forth with the enclosed figures.

Fig 1 shows the assembling structural view of the device according to the invention in perspective view. As it can be seen in the figure the case 28 of the device consists of preferably two parts, the upper part 1 and the lower part 2 and the inner space of the case 28 is divided by an inner separating plate 3. The lighter 26 is placed between the upper part 1 and the separating plate 3. The feeding mechanism 20 ensuring dosing of the cigarettes 27 is placed on the separating plate 3 and the pushing mechanism 29 pushing forward the cigarettes 27 is located between the separating plate 3 and the lower part 2.
Fig 2 shows perspective view of the upper part 1 of the device according to the invention. The lighter 26 is placed in the upper part 1 of the case 28 of the device according to the invention and lighting is made possible with the press button 7. The flame of the lighter 26 is directed through the flame opening 4. As the raw material of the device according to the invention is preferably plastic, therefore the inner collar of the flame opening is provided with an aesthetic metal collar. The sliding button 8 making the pushing of the cigarette along the gap 9 can also be seen in the figure. The filling opening 5 of the lighter respectively the hole 6 for refill cigarettes are located on the upper part 1 of the case 28.
Fig 3 shows the inner separating plate of the device according to the invention. A conic edge 19 narrowing towards one of its ends is shaped at the separating plate 3 for holding the refill cigarettes 27. The feeding mechanism 20 compiled of feed bar 21 and spring 23 is located on the inner separating plate 3 in the guiding block 25. The sliding button 8 joins the bent end 22 of the feed bar 21 through the gap 9 on the upper part 1 of the case 28. The flat end 22 of the feed bar 21 is joined by the hole 10. This flat end 24 is situated below the end of cigarettes 27 placed in the case 28 and the feed bar 21 pushes out the cigarette with the help of this flat end 24. The flat form of the flat end 24 ensures that the cigarettes 27 are pushed out without damage. The feed bar 21 of the feeding mechanism 20 is pre-strained by the spring 23 and is guided and positioned in the guiding block 25 placed in the inner separating plate 3. The feed bar 21 pushes the cigarette 27 only to a part of the length of the cigarette 27, in given case to the filter, further pulling out of the cigarette takes place by the hand or mouth. In case a cigarette is taken out through the hole 10 of the case 28, the pushing profile 13 pushes automatically the next cigarette to the hole 10.
There is an oblong groove 16 in the pushing profile 13 on the side of the cigarette matching the curve cylindrical shape of the cigarette 27 promoting also the damage- free pushing of cigarettes 27. A sliding button 12 located outside the case 28 joins the middle of the pushing profile 13 of cigarettes ensuring pushing back pushing profile
13 into base position after refilling cigarettes 27.
Fig 4 shows the lower part 2 of the device according to the invention. The pushing profile 13 which is a part of the pushing mechanism 29 is located in the lower part 2 of the case 28. The pushing profile 13 pushes the cigarettes 27 to the side towards the hole 10 in one end of the lower part 2 of the case 28. There is a leaf spring 15 on the pushing profile 13 at the ends of which there are grooves 16. Sticks
14 fit through pivots 18 to the grooves 16 at the ends of the pushing profile 13. The pushing profile 13 is pushed by the leaf spring 15 and sticks 14 together with the cigarettes 27 towards the hole 10. A sliding button 12 which moves in the gap 11 in the lower part of the case 28 outside the case 28 joins the pushing profile 13. With the help of sliding button 12 takes place the pushing back of pushing profile 13 into base position after refilling cigarettes 27.
Fig 5 shows the perspective view of the device according to the invention pieced together from top view from the upper part 1 of the case 28. An ordinary, rechargeable lighter 26 preferably of electronic lighting is fixed in the case 28, the filling of the lighter 26 is ensured by a separate filling opening 5 on the case 28. The lighter 26 is placed in itself as a separate unit in the case 28, it is joined by the press button 7 from outside the case 28, furthermore beside it there is a flame opening 4 on the case 28 preferably with metal protecting ring. The metal protecting ring located in the flame opening 4 provides protection for the plastic case 28 from the flame of the lighter 26 and from direct heat effect. It can be seen in figure 5 that the device according to the invention can be fully used with one hand also, for example holding the device in our right hand, the cigarettes 27 are pushed out of the case 28 through the hole 10 with the sliding button 8. In given case the cigarette 27 can be lighted with the press button 7 with the flame coming out of the flame opening 4.
Fig 6 shows the perspective view of the device according to the invention pieced together from top view from the lower part 2 of the case 28. In order to be able to fill the cigarettes 27 in the case 28 the pushing profile 13 is pulled back with the sliding button 12 and the cigarettes 27 are placed into the empty space within the case 28 through the hole 10. In the given definite shape of the device according to the invention five pieces of cigarettes 27 can be put into the device.
Fig 7 shows the perspective view of the device according to the invention pieced together from bottom view from the upper part 1 of the case 28. The filling opening 5 placed in the bottom of the case 28 can be seen in the figure and the hole 6 providing place for the cigarettes 27. The filling opening 5 facilitates recharging of the lighter 26 placed in the case of the device according to the invention as it ensures, that without undoing the case 28 the lighter 26 can be refilled optionally. The refill cigarettes 27 in the hole 6 are held on their place by the conic edge 19 located on the separating plate 3 in the inside of the case 28. Taking out of the cigarette 27 from the hole 6 takes place with a slight hit of the case 28, with the help of inertia.
In a possible preferable embodiment of the solution according to the invention the case 28, the separating plate 3 furthermore the raw materials of all the components are metal or plastic. The case 28 is made of plastic preferably by injection molding or it is made of metal preferably by cold forming. The case 28 made of plastic by injection molding consists of two half parts, which are connected with each other with flip flaps in an fixed way. The case 28 of the device can be in given case of 84x60x17 mm size plastic or metal box of even plates on the upper and lower side and with rounded plates on the sides with surface treated finish.
The advantage of the solution according to the invention is, that the procedure of lighting a cigarette is made easy and safe in various situations. The advantage of the invention is that it combines the two devices used during lighting a cigarette, namely the box storing cigarettes and the lighter, into one device, this way period of time spent with this action is shortened and the process is simplified. A further advantage is, that the procedure can be carried out with one hand, so the other hand can be used for other activity. Another advantage is, that it can be used also when otherwise filthy hands would prevent or set back taking out cigarettes and use of a lighter.
The invention can advantageously influence giving up smoking by the fact, that only six pieces of cigarettes can be put into the device, so in a determined period only this quantity of cigarette can be consumed and not more. It is also advantageous, because it can be easily put into the pocket of a shirt, being flat and slim. It can also be applied to our belt. No similar device facilitating the complex process of lighting a cigarette according to the invention can be found in the domestic or foreign practice.

Claims

1. Cigarette holder with feeding mechanism and fitted lighter, provided with inner case for storing and dosing cigarettes,
characterized by that,
the device has a separating plate (3) located inside of a case (28) and also has a pushing mechanism (29) for cigarettes (27) and a lighter (26) is also located inside said case (28),
and a feeding mechanism (20) is located on the separating plate (3) and furthermore there is a hole (10) serving for dosing of cigarettes and there is a gap (9) suitable for moving the feeding mechanism (20) and in said gap (9) a sliding button (8) is driven,
furthermore there is a gap (11) on the case (28) ensuring guiding of sliding button (12) joining a pushing profile (13) of a pushing mechanism (29) ensuring the forwarding of cigarettes (27),
and the device has a press button (7) operating the lighter (26) furthermore the case (28) has a flame opening (4) preferably provided with metal collars serving the guiding of the flame and said device is also provided with a filling opening (5) serving the filling of the lighter (26).

Device according to claim 1, characterized by that, the feeding mechanism (20) consists of a guiding block (25) fixed to the separating plate (3) and there is a feed bar (21) with spring (23) guided in said guiding block (25) and a sliding button (8) located outside the case (28) joins one curve end (22) of the feed bar (21) and an other flat end (24) of the feed bar (21) is located below hole (10) providing the cigarettes (27).

Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized by that, the pushing mechamsm (29) consists of a pushing profile (13) with sticks (14) joining through pivots (18) at both ends, furthermore there is a leaf spring (15) located on the pushing profile (13) with curve grooves (16) on both ends of said pushing profile (13) and sticks (14) fit into said grooves (16), furthermore the surface of the pushing profile (13) is a curve surface (17) shaped as the surface of cigarettes (27) and a sliding button (12) placed outside the case (28) joins the pushing profile (13).

Device according to any of claims 1 to 3 characterized by that the case (28) is assembled of two parts, an upper part (1) and a lower part (3), in the upper part (1) there is the gap (9) used for moving the feeding mechanism (20), furthermore there is the press button (7), flame opemng (4), filling opening (5) of the lighter (26), furthermore a hole (6) where refill cigarettes can be kept , in the lower part (2) there is the gap (11) for guiding of the sliding button (12) of the pushing mechanism (29) furthermore the hole (10) for cigarettes (27).
5. Device according to any of claims 1 to 4 characterized by that a conic edge (19) is shaped at the separating plate (3) in the hole (6) for holding the refill cigarettes (27) for keeping the refill cigarettes (27) positioned in the hole (6).
6. Device according to any of claims 1 to 5 characterized by that the device is made of metal and/or plastic, preferably injection molded plastic.
