Abstract

This process originally is designed to produce a advertisement sheet which can be attached on the surface of the glass without any adhesive device. This means the sheet itself has adhesive strength and this can be used in various ways such as an advertisement sheet or etc... To make the sheet these procedures would be followed: 1) Print UV OFF Set on white PVC sheet, 2) After PVC sheet which has adhesive strength has been glued on white PVC sheet which had been printed UV OFF Set, it will be treated by the heat of fusion, 3) The sheet will be trimmed and cut to planned or any appropriate size to be used. These procedures will create a sheet with a portion with adhesive property; thus this sheet can be attached and removed to the surface of the glass without making any mark or scratch.

Description

GLASS ATTACHMENT SHEET FOR ADVERTISEMENT PURPOSE
Technical Field
The object of this project is to produce a sheet which can be attached to the surface of glass without any adhesive device such as a suction cup.
To produce this sheet, these procedures should be followed: 1. Offset print one side or both sides of PVC sheet. 2. Add adhesive strength to the sheet by using PVC Resin plasticizer
3. The sheet will be treated by the heat of fusion
4. The sheet will be trimmed and cut by a high frequency trimmer to a planned size or any specific size needed.
The final product produced with these procedures can be attached to and removed from the surface of glass without leaving any mark, stain, nor scratch by its unique self-adhesive strength. Technological background
The commonly used adhesive sheet is offset printed on a PP sheet then punctured, in order to attach an adhesive suction cup device.
The adhesive suction cup device is pressed on the location where the adhesion is desired. However when attached to glass or car window the adhesive suction cup device was easily detached by vibrations from the car movement or heat from sunlight. Moreover, advertising 'sticker' adhesives were hard to remove and left stains. Tinting-purposed PVC sheets were used for windows but were too soft thus allowing only silk print and not offset print.
In addition sunray screens designed for cars are made of mesh and the adhesive, suction cap device is easily detached by motion and the mesh itself is resistant to print due to the nature of the surface. Sunray screens made of synthetic paper can be offset printed but the adhesive suction cap device is also easily detached.
These problems motivated the invention and new design for practical use such as the PVC sheet with self-adhesive strength, which can be treated by silk printing, offset printing, etc—
Detailed description of the product By following the procedures to include heat-fusion on either side of the offset printed PVC sheet an attachment sheet will be produced and the processes of the production are the unique characteristic of the product. The optimal application of this product can be described as follows with these drawings.
Brief description of the drawings FIG. 1 - The front view of this product
FIG. 2 - The cross-sectional view of this product FIG. 3 - The side view of the product when it is attached to the surface of the glass.
FIG. 4 - The front view of the previous product. FIG. 5 - The side view of the previous product when it is attached to the surface of glass.

The purpose of this product is to eliminate the weak points of the commonly used adhesive sheet, which has the adhesive device, Suction cup with it.
To produce the adhesive PVC sheet, combine lOOKg of PVC Resin with 50Kg-120Kg of plasticizer, this mixture will be treated by the Calender machine or extrude method to produce the adhesive PVC sheet. The adhesive PVC sheet will be treated by heat fusion, and then the product with self-adhesive strength will be produced.
The final product, a flat sheet can be attached to and removed from the surface of the glass without leaving any mark, stain, nor scratch with a unique self-adhesive strength.
Marketability or practical usefulness
As this report explained, by following the production procedures, which include heat-fusion of PVC sheet, we can produce a flat sheet that has self-adhesive strength.
This sheet itself can be attached to the surface of glass as many times as the user wants and it can be removed easily without leaving any stain. With this unique characteristic this product can be used in various ways.
