Abstract

La fréquence respiratoire est un paramètre difficile à mesurer. Les techniques habituelles se révèlent gênantes pour le patient. L'invention concerne un moniteur de la respiration (20) destiné à mesurer la fréquence respiratoire d'un corps (30), ledit moniteur (20) étant composé d'au moins un accéléromètre (10) pouvant être fixé à une partie supérieure d'un corps (20), conçu pour émettre un signal de sortie lié à la fréquence respiratoire dudit corps (30), et de moyens (40) destinés à déterminer la fréquence respiratoire à partir du ou des signaux de sortie, et à fournir une sortie de moniteur (50) caractéristique d'une fréquence respiratoire. Lesdits moyens (40) comportent un filtre de base (110) destiné à éliminer des artefacts du signal de sortie ne résultant pas de la respiration du corps de manière à émettre un signal de base filtré.
