Abstract

The invention relates to a cable form connector (2) for producing a detachable connection (1), comprising a housing (4), a contact strip with contact elements (5) arranged in the housing (4), and a locking device (6) which is pivotably or rotatably arranged on bearing elements (7). Said locking device which can be alternated between an open position and a locked position. The bearing elements (7) are embodied in the form of bolts and extend laterally, away from the housing (4) and at least partially pass through openings (9) which are provided on the locking device (6). Mounting is simplified as a result of the bearing elements (7) and openings (9) which are fitted with an oval section. Additionally, the traction forces exerted along the larger diameter of the bearing elements (7) when the locking device (6) is in a closed position prevent the bearing elements (7) from being deformed.
