Abstract

Fundamentally, the PC DUO is a new way of conceiving a portable P. It has been created for companies that need to offer on the market a great number of products difficult to be classified. Such products can be stored in this PC able not only to show images in motion but also having the main characteristic of two parallel screens hinged on their top and joined as a single standard LCD to the base of the portable computer that give the possibility to see such images not only to the technical operator but also to its interlocutor.

Description

DESCRIPTION
Title of the invention: P.C. DUO
TECHNICAL FIELD
The technical field this invention refers to, is the computer one. The PC DUO is a computer to be used above all for demonstrative uses. It means that it helps the computer operator to show products without moving or rotate the portable PC.
BACKGROUND ART
Today, nothing similar exists in the technological sector. We have been using normal portable computers with one screen for long, but this is the first time it is possible to have a portable computer with two opposite parallel screens.
DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION
The P.C. DUO, is a new way of conceiving a portable PC.
All the companies that need to offer on the market a great number of non classifiable products or products that in any case for their dimension or number, cannot be seen by the customers personally, can be stored on P.C. Duo.
This PC can show on its screen infinite numbers of images in motion. This will give the possibility to show the product in all its nuances, contrary to what can happen even if the customer can see the life product. Furthermore, the novelty of this PC lies on its technical characteristics. It is made up of two parallel screens that can show all images not only to the operator, but also to his interlocutor. In this way while the operator explains all the characteristics of the above-mentioned product, the interlocutor can easily follow the explanation because he sees the same images explained by the operator.
As far as all the technical characteristics are concerned, this PC is around 5/6 cm high (when closed) its base consists of a keyboard, a touch pad, a CD ROM and a 3,3 cm floppy. The remaining part, from 1,7 to 2,7 cm is made up of 2 LCD screens on the same level one opposite to the other. In other words they are parallel but joined together in their higher part. When the PC is open, we'll have two screens joined together on the top by an hinge that gives them the possibility of getting closer and keeping at distance so that both users can choose the best shade to watch the images.
As the user may require, in the lower part of this PC there will be the possibility to apply an horizontally pivoted bearing that will block the above mentioned screens in the chosen position. In other words this lower part will have a variable inclination following the users needs. It's necessary to underline that both screens can be closed with the help of two pommels that will definitely stop the screens up to next use.
One more new thing is that while the first screen can be closed exactly like another normal portable PC, the second one is closed with the help of double slides through a plastic panel that has to be put into a groove inside the PC. This can be removed and placed again using two side buttons.
All this means that if the technical operator wants to show his interlocutor the same images he sees on his screen, he can open the second screen1 removing the plastic panel. While if he prefers to hide such images, he can just leave the panel closed continuing to use the screen for himself only.
Furthermore, the PC DUO, can be used as a static demonstrative instrument. Only the technical operator will have the possibility to enter it using a code or a padlock. In such a case, it will be possible to interact with the computer only through a mouse and if necessary while the demo runs, if the user needs to enter the program, or wants to move inside it, he must be helped by the technical operator.

PC DUO can be produced following the same technical- computer procedure of a normal portable PC. It is just necessary to modify the power of some components in order to have the possibility to use two screens rather than only one. Obviously from a simply attractive point of view, it becomes necessary to create two extremely particular LCD screens that will be hinged on their higher side so that it will be possible to open them in an opposite parallel way.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY
All the companies that need to offer on the market a great number of non classifiable products or products that in any case for their dimension or number, cannot be seen by the customers personally, can be stored on P.C. Duo.
This PC can show on its screen infinite numbers of images in motion. This will give the possibility to show the product in all its nuances, contrary to what can happen even if the customer can see the li fe product.

Claims

The novelties of PC DUO, are essentially three:
1) All the companies that need to offer on the market a great number of non classifiable products or products that in any case for their dimension or number, cannot be seen by the customers personally, can be stored on P.C. Duo.
This PC can show on its screen infinite numbers of images in motion. This will give the possibility to show the product in all its nuances, contrary to what can happen even if the customer can see the life product.
2) This portable PC is made up of two parallel screens that can show all images not only to the operator, but also to his interlocutor. In this way while the operator explains all the characteristics of the above-mentioned product, the interlocutor can easily follow the explanation because he sees the same images explained by the operator.
As far as all the technical characteristics are concerned, this PC is around 5/6 cm high (when closed) its base consists of a
( keyboard, a touch pad, a CD ROM and a 3,3cm floppy.
3) One more new thing is that while the first screen can be closed exactly like another normal portable PC, the second one is closed with the help of double slides through a plastic panel that has to be put into a groove inside the PC. This can be removed and placed again using two side buttons.
All this means that if the technical operator wants to show his interlocutor the same images he sees on his screen, he can open the second screen removing the plastic panel.
Furthermore, it is necessary to underline that: not only the PC DUO screens can vary following the model and the measurements of the portable PC starting from 12,1 to 15, 1 , but obviously although the materials to be used to construct such PC are exactly the same used for other portable computers, the dimensions of the different pieces that constitute the PC DUO differ according to its technical characteristics. Finally, it is important to point out that PC DUO is the only PC provided with two LCD screens that can be used following the different needs of the users.
Anyway it is the only portable computer characterized by a connection from the video card that pilots both LCD. This implies that all commands that normally act on one single LCD, in the PC DUO work on both LCD screens in the same way in relation to brightness, contrast, image etc.
The drawings better show all technical characteristics of this invention consisting of two opposite LCD screens hinged on their top and joined as a single standard LCD to the base of the portable computer.
