Abstract

Fahrzeugseitige Bemautungsvorrichtung (BE1) eines Mautsystems (SYS), welches ein Positionsermittlungssystem (PES) zur Ermittlung der Position eines Fahrzeuges (FAR) aufweist, wobei die Bemautungsvorrichtung (BE1) eine Empfangseinheit (EMP) aufweist, die dazu eingerichtet ist, von dem Positionsermittlungssystem (PES) Positionsdaten zu empfangen und an eine Steuerung (STE) zu übertragen, die dazu eingerichtet ist, anhand der Positionsdaten aktuelle Ortskoordinaten (OKO) des Fahrzeuges zu bestimmen, eine für eine befahrene Strecke (STR) charakteristische Signatur (SIG) zu berechnen und anhand der Signatur (SIG) festzustellen, ob die befahrene Strecke (STR) mautpflichtig ist, wobei die Steuerung (STE) weiters dazu eingerichtet ist, für den Fall, dass die befahrene Strecke (STR) mautpflichtig ist, anhand einer in einem Speicher (SPR) abgelegten Benutzerberechtigung (BER) zu überprüfen, ob das Fahrzeug (FAR) zur Benutzung dieser Strecke (STR) berechtigt ist.
