Abstract

The invention relates to an electricity supply for converting a three-phase a.c. input voltage into a direct output voltage. The electricity supply for converting a three-phase a.c. input voltage (UR, US, UT) into a direct output voltage (UA) is characterised in that it has three switched-mode power supply units (SNR, SNS, SNT), of which each input end of a transformer (TRF) comprises a pulse-width controlled switch (V1, V2); a secondary rectifier (D1, D2) supplies the direct output voltage (UA) via a filter capacitor (C1); the current is controlled, upstream from the filter capacitor (C1), essentially according to a sine square function; each of the three switched-mode power supply units (SNR, SNS, SNT) is mounted on the input side on one of the three phases (R, S, T) of the three-phase system; and the direct voltage outputs of said power supply units are connected in parallel.
