Background Art
In general, from the viewpoint of business characteristics in a hospital, lots of patients need a kiosk Cash Dispenser (hereinafter, referred to as "CD") enabling deposition and withdrawal of cash, transfer account and credit card settlement for the purpose of payment of medical treatment costs and medicine costs. Moreover, after the separation of pharmacy and clinic, large-scale hospitals need a kiosk terminal for automatic issue of paper medical prescription to save personnel expenses, and a kiosk terminal for electronic transfer of medical prescription after a patient selects a drug store beforehand to reduce the time period for medicine preparation. However, it is difficult to introduce such kiosk terminals because their manufacture costs are too high. For this reason, till now, the patients had to stand in a line in front of a few kiosk prescription system for payment of medical treatment costs and receipt of prescription during consultation hours, and the patients and staff members of the hospital had to stand in a line in front of a few CD-ATM system for financial services besides the consultation hours. Like this, the patients and the staff members of the hospital had to wait for a long time in different time zones and spaces, but the two service systems, which were not been integrated with each other, were not effectively operated in time and space.
Furthermore, a card product, which serves medical treatment record, prescription record and a credit card function by only one card, has been disclosed, but it has not been effectively used because of a number of hospitals and credit card companies. In fact, lots of people carry a medical information card, which contains medical prescription information, and a financial service card, which the patient mainly uses as card settlement means, separately.
In addition, the medical prescription information contains personal record and medical treatment record of the patient, but is transferred by a secret code of a low level less than 128 bits, but not encryption or electronic authentication, after the prescription statement search and the prescription search of the patient by a simple numbering system operated in the hospital.
Disclosure of Invention
Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a kiosk system for combined prescriptional issue, electronic transfer and CD, which can maximize a service effect for patients by simultaneously performing payment of medical treatment costs and medicine costs, a financial function such as deposition and withdrawal of cash, and issue and transfer of medical prescription in a hospital.
To achieve the above objects, the present invention provides a kiosk system including a medical prescription related system and a financial service system. According to the present invention, a patient can see medical treatment record and prescription record of the patient through patient authentication, which is an indirect ID code directly or indirectly created by the third party, for the issue of the prescription and payment of medical treatment and medicine costs after a doctor examined and treated the patient, and then, selects a desired drug store, to which the patient wants to transfer the prescription. After that, the patient selectively uses a payment service of the medical treatment and medicine costs through personal authentication in connection with financial services. After the patient uses the payment service, the medical prescription related system prints the paper type prescription. The financial service system allows the patient to use a cash depositing and withdrawing service, a transfer account service, and a credit card service only through financial authentication.
