Abstract

A fixed cellular phone holder for vehicles, with a universal support and with disappearing movement, comprising a structure (1) integrated in the hollow of the dash-board of the vehicle, containing a carriage from which a rectangular plate (2) projects, with support steps (3) and on the front pace whereof a layer (4) of water repellent, silicone, polyurethane or other kind of gel is applied for just holding the cellular phone (TC) resting thereon, apart from its shape or dimension, and also comprising an infrared or ultrasound electronic system for the survey of the presence, incorporated in said structure (1) and fed by the vehicles' battery or by independent batteries, provided with a means (5) for the survey of the presence of handy that will be activated in the same moment said cellular phone (TC) is inserted into said structure (1), and other means for signalling forgetfulness.

Description

A FIXED CELLULAR PHONE HOLDER DEVICE FOR VEHICLES, WITH A UNIVERSAL SUPPORT
The present invention concerns a fixed cellular phone holder for vehicles, with a universal support, a disappearing movement and possible electronic alarm means should the handy be left in the vehicle, which may be housed on the dash-board or in any place that may be easily reached by the user.
It is known that cellular phone holders for vehicles comprise mechanic systems for blocking the handy provided, according to the cases, with small lateral and/or movable arms.
It is the aim of the present invention to realize a new kind of universal support for holding cellular phones of different shapes, if necessary provided also with an electronic device with an acoustic alarm for not to forget the unguarded handy in the vehicle.
The aim set forth is reached by means of an electronic device integrated in a plate support that blocks any movement of the handy, apart from its dimensions, and comprising an acoustic alarm that starts when the handy, placed on the holder according to the present invention, is to be forgotten in the vehicle.
The advantages deriving from the device according to the present invention are considerable:
- it simplifies the use of the cellular phone holders making them versatile in the different applications; - it represents a new solution against the theft of handies left unguarded in the vehicles, thus also avoiding damages to the vehicle itself.
The present invention will be described more in detail hereinbelow relating to the enclosed drawings, in which some embodiments are shown.
Figure 1 shows an axonometric view of a fixed cellular phone holder for vehicles, with a universal support and with a disappearing movement, also provided with electronic alarm means should he handy be forgotten in the vehicles, said device being integrated on the dash-board of said vehicle.
Figures 2 and 3 show the holder according to the present invention, integrated in the dashboard hollow, respectively in the opening and using phases.
Figures 4 and 5 show a variant of the device in the extractable version, respectively in its closing and opening position.
Figure 6 shows an axonometric view of a variant with a universal support. Figure 7 shows an axonometric view of a further variant provided, on the back, with a hollow for containing images or paper advertising material.
The enclosed figures show a fixed cellular phone holder for vehicles, with a universal support, with a disappearing movement and also provided with electronic alarm means should the handy be forgotten, comprising: a structure 1 integrated in the hollow of the dash-board of the vehicle, out of a rigid material, containing a carriage from which a rectangular plate 2 projects, with two steps 3 at its base; on the front pace of said plate 2 a layer 4 of water repellent, silicone, polyurethane or other kind of gel is applied, with a small adhesive capacity, for just holding the cellular phone TC resting thereon, apart from its shape or dimension; an infrared or ultrasound or a switch electronic system for the survey of the presence, incorporated in said structure 1 and fed by the vehicles battery or by independent batteries, provided of:
- a means 5 for the survey of the presence of the handy placed on the rectangular plate 2, and that will be activated in the moment said cellular phone TC is inserted in said structure 1 ;
- a means 6 switch or similar, placed in correspondence with the front door, on the driving side of the vehicle, and connected with the device by means of an auxiliary electric wire or directly with the electric wire that controls the opening of the door, and that will be activated at the same moment of the door's opening; - a means 7 for working out the information received by said means 5 and 6 when the latter respectively send the signals of the presence of the cellular phone on the handy holder and of the opening of the door on the driver side of the vehicle, and which in turn transmits a signal to an acoustic alarm 8 for the emergency survey of forgetfulness or anti-theft.
When the vehicle is still and the dashboard is off, the device according to the present invention is on and therefore it may survey any kind of variation.
The working of the electronic device may be described as follows: the means 5 surveys the presence of a cellular phone TC on the cellular phone holder and sends the information to means 7 which, through means 6, surveys the open or close condition of the vehicle's door on the driving side; when said means 7 receives, at the same time, the signal of open door and of presence of the cellular phone on said place 2, it send an alarm signal to the acoustic alarm 8 which signals to the used the forgetfulness of the handy on said plate 2, and it stops sounding when the handy TC is taken from the holder or when the door is closed.
In the variant according to figures 4 and 5, the device according to the present invention comprises the already mentioned details and has such a structure as to be inserted into an extractable container C.
Relating to the variant of figure 6, the following details are shown: - a structure 1 ' in the shape of a truncated inclined supporting pyramid, out of rigid material and with front steps 3, onto which the gel layer 4 is applied; an electronic device incorporated in said structure, fed by the vehicle's battery or by independent batteries, provided with said means 5 that gets activated as soon as said cellular phone TC is placed onto said structure 1', and with said means 6 placed in correspondence with the front door on the driver's side, which is connected to said means 7 by means of a radiofrequency signal 9.
The variant according to figure 7 consists of a rectangular supporting structure 1 " out of rigid material and with front steps 3 onto the front face whereof said gel layer 4 is applied, while on the back face a image holder hollow 10 is provided.

Claims

1. A fixed cellular phone holder for vehicles, with a universal support characterized in: - a structure (1) integrated in the hollow of the dash-board of the vehicle, out of a rigid material, containing a carriage from which a rectangular plate (2) projects, with two steps (3) at its base; on the front pace of said plate (2) a layer (4) of water repellent, silicone, polyurethane or other kind of gel is applied, with a small adhesive capacity, for just holding a cellular phone (TC) resting thereon, apart from its shape or dimension; - an infrared beams or ultrasound or a switch electronic system for the survey of the presence, incorporated in the structure (1) and fed by the vehicles battery or by independent batteries, provided of:
- a means (5) for the survey of the presence of the cellular phone placed on the rectangular plate (2), and that will be activated in the moment said cellular phone (TC) is inserted in the structure (1);
- a means (6) switch or similar, placed in correspondence with the front door, on the driving side of the vehicle, that will be activated at the same moment of the door's opening; - a means (7) for working out the information received by said means (5) and (6) when the latter respectively send the signals of the presence of the cellular phone on the handy holder and of the opening of the door on the driver side of the vehicle, and which in turn transmits a signal to an acoustic alarm (8) for the emergency survey of forgetfulness or anti-theft.
2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the acoustic alarm (8) is turned off with the closing of the front door on the driver's side.
3. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the acoustic alarm (8) stops sounding only when the cellular phone (TC) is taken from the holder (1).
4. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the means (6) is connected to said device by means of an auxiliary electric wire or directly with the wire that controls the opening of the door.
5. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that it is inserted in an extractable container (C).
6. Device according to claim 1, characterized in a structure (1') in the shape of a truncated inclined supporting pyramid, out of rigid material and with front steps (3), onto which the gel layer (4) is applied, and in an electronic device incorporated in said structure, fed by the vehicle's battery or by independent batteries, provided with a means (5) - a switch or a device for infrared or ultrasound survey - that gets activated as soon as the cellular phone (TC) is placed onto said support (1 '), and in a means (6) - a switch or similar - placed in correspondence with the front door on the driver's side, that may be activated with the opening of said door and said information is sent, by a wire or by a radiofrequency signal (9), to a means (7), that works out the information of said means (5) and (6) an sends a signal to an acoustic alarm (8) for the emergency survey for forgetfulness of anti-theft.
7. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that on the back face of the structure (1") a image holder hollow 10 is provided.
