Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé et sur un système de personnalisation de la présentation de données envoyées depuis un ou plusieurs serveurs Web à un client/utilisateur. Un ensemble de règles est déterminé pour personnaliser les données envoyées par chaque serveur Web au client en fonction des préférences du client. Un serveur de personnalisation (SP) comprend un programme pour modifier les données envoyées par chaque serveur Web au client en fonction de l'ensemble de règles de manière à intervenir entre chaque serveur Web et chaque client. Un dispositif de stockage tel qu'une base de données à laquelle peut accéder le SP permet de stocker et d'extraire l'ensemble des règles. Chaque fois que des données sont envoyées d'un ou plusieurs serveurs Web aux clients via le SP, l'ensemble de règles est extrait de la mémoire par le SP et appliqué aux données, ce qui entraîne la modification des données. Les données modifiées sont ensuite envoyées aux clients et présentées à ceux-ci en fonction de leurs préférences.
