Abstract

It is intended to provide a novel receptor protein which is useful as an excellent anticancer agent and a material for screening the same. A human-origin receptor protein or its salt; a DNA encoding this protein; an antibody against this protein or its salt; a method of determining a ligand for this protein; a method/a kit for screening a compound capable of altering the binding properties of the ligand to the protein; compounds obtained by the screening or salts thereof; etc. The above-described antibody, compounds (antagonists, etc.) capable of altering the binding properties of the ligand to the protein and the antisense polynucleotide are useful as anticancer agents.
