Abstract

A rectal syringe is used to inject water or any other suitable fluid into a human anus prior to defecation for the purpose of softening and lubricating the passage of tools through the rectum. A rectal syringe consists of a phallically-shaped tube (1) and plunger-driven piston (4) with on one end of the phallically-shaped tube a shaped nozzle (2) which can be inserted into a human anus with minimal discomfort. On the opposite end of the tube is a generously-dimensioned circular planar flange (5) perpendicular to the tube's axis which enables the user to apply the syringe and inject the fluid using one hand only. The primary purpose of this invention is haemorrhoid prevention.

Description

RECTAL SYRINGE.
Technical Field
This invention relates to a device which aids a human being in moving his/her bowels without suffering the discomfort and trauma of constipation, thereby preventing the formation of haemorrhoids. Background Art
When defecating, many persons experience great difficulty and discomfort in passing the first stool, which is often hard and dry. The ejection of this initial stool severely traumatises the rectum and is the major cause of haemorrhoids developing. This invention allows a person, with minimal difficulty, prior to defecating, to inject a small quantity of water or other acceptable fluid into his/her colon for the purpose of lubricating and easing the passage of the initial stool through his/her rectum, thereby greatly reducing the level of rectal trauma and the likelihood of developing haemorrhoids.
Disclosure of the Invention
One embodiment of the invention is described hereunder with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the drawings the tube (1) is provided with a shaped nozzle (2) and a plunger (3) having a neoprene sliding seal (4). Further, the tube is provided with a generously dimensioned planar flange (5) perpindicular to the cylinder axis.
In accordance with this invention a rectal syringe consists in a tube of generally phallic shape.
Further according to the invention, the syringe is piston operated. Still further according to the invention, the tube consists of a cylindrical wall provided with a nozzle shaped for ease of rectal penetration without compacting the incipient stool.
Further according to the invention, the cross-section of the tube is dimensioned to minimize leakage of fluid between the outer wall of the tube and the inner wall of the larger intestine terminating at the user's anus. Still further according to the invention, the syringe is dimensioned to allow a user to apply and operate it with one hand.
In use, the shaped nozzle is inserted by the user into his/her rectal orifice and a suitable fluid is injected into his/her colon. Brief Description of Drawings In the drawings:
Figure 1. is a plan view of the syringe according to the invention. Figure 2. is a cross-sectional view of the syringe and plunger. Figure 3. is an underplan of the syringe. Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention The invention is to be manufactured of injection-moulded plastic and neoprene in three separate parts.

Claims

1. According to the invention, a rectal syringe consists in a tube of generally phallic shape.
2. Further according to the invention, the syringe is piston operated.
3. Still further according to the invention, the tube consists of a cylindrical wall provided with a nozzle shaped for ease of rectal penetration without compacting the incipient stool.
4. Further according to the invention, the cross-section of the tube is dimensioned to minimize leakage of fluid between the outer wall of the tube and the inner wall of the larger intestine terminating at the user's anus.
5. Still further according to the invention, the syringe is dimensioned to allow a user to apply and operate it with one hand.
