Abstract
The invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to methods for producing semifinished products, which have predetermined structure and properties, including structure and properties distributed in the volume in a specified manner, and made from homogeneous and heterogeneous billets using intensive plastic deformation. The aim of said invention is to develop a novel method for producing the semifinished products from the individual homogeneous and heterogeneous billets which have the predetermined structure and properties. Said method makes it possible to obtain a composition equal in strength to a base material. The microstructurale condition and the chemical and microstructure homogeneity of the semifinished products are obtained by means of an intensive solid state mixing of the billets in such a way that it is possible to form a contact between billets, thereby preventing the mutual sliding during a plastic deformation thereof which is performed in conditions of combined loading and accompanied by a multiple increasing of the surface area and a transformation of the shape of the composition's surface as compared to the initial surface.
