Abstract

Le ski alpin double relève des équipements de sport, plus particulièrement des skis alpins et peut s'utiliser comme un ski alpin ou comme un snowboard. Ce modèle d'utilité est caractérisé en ce qui le ski alpin double consiste en deux parties mobiles (surfaces glissantes), reliées mécaniquement entre elles et avec une poutre centrale flexible sur laquelle est aménagée la fixation de la chaussure, et ce au moyen d'éléments mobiles (de trapèzes) de construction spécial. Ces éléments assurent la orientation parallèle des surfaces glissantes, entre elles et par rapport à la semelle de chaussure, en position directe ou lors de la mise à carres. Cette construction permet de réduire la longueur du ski sans raccourcir la longueur de la carre d'appui. Réalisé sous forme de snowboard ce double ski possède une stabilité accrue car la masse du skieur est repartie sur deux carres parallèles
