Abstract

The aim of the invention is to achieve an extremely accurate golf stroke, in particular a golf stroke that is characterised by a narrow dispersion and a rounder swing. To achieve this, the golf-club head has one or more weight inserts in the sole of the club. Said weight inserts are located in an area of the sole that lies in or as near as possible to an imaginary/theoretical extension of the golf-club shaft, and/or the golf-club head has an aerodynamic shape, which generates an additional centrifugal force and/or an additional driving force during the swing of the club.
