Supporting device for supporting a portable computer which can be placed on a desk-top, comprising a plate-like computer carrying leaf on which the computer can be placed and an upright(1,2) on which the computer carrying leaf (3) supports and which holds the computer carrying leaf a distance from the desk-top on at least one side, wherein the computer carrying leaf supports releasably on the upright.
