Abstract

The invention relates to a multi-layered plasma polymer coating applied to a substrate, containing following elements on top of each other: (A) at least one layer covering at least one surface of the substrate, which can be produced by treating the metallic surface of the substrate or at least one layer covering the metallic surface of the substrate consisting of at least one metal oxide with a plasma containing water and/or carbon dioxide, and (B) at least one layer of at least one plasma polymer produced by plasma polymerisation of the following initial compounds in the indicated order; (B1) at least one element-organic compound, (B2) at least one mixture containing at least one element-organic compound (B1) and at least one organic compound (B3) and (B3) and at least one organic compound. The invention also relates to a method for the production of said coating by plasma (pre)treatment and plasma polymerisation, in addition to the use thereof as an anti- corrosion protective layer and/or adhesive layer.
